Your favorite of Baum's Oz books?
Since this board is just starting out, I thought we could get some discussion going on a simple topic, to begin with.
So, out of all the Oz books written by L. Frank Baum, do you have a personal favorite? If so, what is it and why do you like it so much?
I myself haven't read a lot of the original Oz books, but I would have to say first of all, I like "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" since it was the book that started it all. Apart from that, I also enjoyed "Ozma of Oz", simply because it had one of the very most original plots I've ever seen in a book. Like the tree with the lunch pails, the Wheelers, the description of the Nomes...absolutely brilliant. And a wonderful read. Like all of Baum's books.
I have read all his Oz books except "The Lost Princess of Oz" & "The Magic of Oz". My favorites are "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", "The Marvelous Land of Oz", & "Ozma of Oz".
Fav Oz book
My favorite Oz book would have to be...... hmm.....The Tinwoodman of Oz...I guess it just has a good story to tell. I am proud to say in my 13 years of life ive obtained all 16 Oz books, the sea faeries, sky island, and many other Baum books. (After all if i want to be a writeri need some inspiration from my favorite author )
