Asalamoalikum !
I want to request everyone that dont talk evil of others' religions. We can ask questions and raise issues but please do not jump onto the conclusions.
In recent posts, (atleast where I am posting), I see that most of the times the people quote a crime committed by the muslim and then they give comments like Islam teaches them to do this. Then they would quote something else bad happening in a region and declare, this is what islam tells them. Is that right ? They dont even say that, I guess or I think....no! just a judgement.
If I start saying that such and such person (a christian) committed this crime cuz his religion says so; or if I start abusing (God forbid) the Religion-christianity in the light of church scandals, what then ?
A crossfire of fiddlesticks will start, leading us nowhere.
Right way for me is to question that scandal or question christainity...not abusing or debasing it.
I hope i made myself clear. Thank you for listening : )
Thats just the point the Christian doctrine doesn teach to kill anyone for any reason but to love all even our enemies... and to do good to them that harm us...

NOT islam, here and in other places... so dont complain about what your religion teaches... switch to a religion thats sounds like its from an Almighty God... if you feel Islam doesn't show to kill, of whatever reason then you just deny your own religion and doctrine.

Hello all !
Yeah! please beat around the bush. Tell me if you are going to hold Islam---the religion, responsible for what a muslim does, even if the islam does not teach it.
For if the answer is yes, I promise I would hold the Christianity, responible for EVERYTHING that any christian does, or have done. Simple as that!
I need no dual answers. I have shown how the people have been jumping on to blame islam for anything possible. I hate that.
I have been to those websites, mentioned by brother marsh. Thank you.

Your missing the point, you said the Koran didnt teach to kill anyone, which infact it does as I proved with the verses. Christ on the other has said to love all even our enemies and no where in the New Testament does it teach to kill anyone, rather to bless them that wish to harm you. The Islam doctrine does teach to kill though, you can't just rip them verses out and say... thats not the real "islam" thats just plain silly.

Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek, not to kill.
And not to hijack airplanes and fly them into buildings thereby killing all the passengers and the occupants of the building.

What Jesus was teaching in Matthew 10, was that those who have not been born agian, who are of the world will hate christians. Matthew 10 in no way justifies Holy War.

I dont hate chtristianity for many and many of my friends are christians, who dont give a dime to what world is saying about islam. They know that as such no religion can teach u to kill. Ironically, a vast population of the WROLD is Muslim. Are u blind or what ?
Watch it before u declare any religion evil in such strong words. If islam tells to kill and is evil then why dont they start killing everyone.
What happened in the church recently ? Is this what a religion tells ? Horrible and disaster, if it does.
So, We should not base our judgements about a religion thinking what a follower does is taught by his religion. Otherwise, every religion would fall under same line.

Hi Asad Ali, from catholic perspective, how do you think catholic church today view's Islam? Are Catholics moving in the direction of peaceful relations? Has the pope to your knowledge apologized for the crusades? Feel free to answer above questions from Muslim perspective too.
I know from my military training, I was from my dehumanizing training of enemies calling for nuclear holocaust of muslim countries. But, I then asked, is that what Jesus would do? Then I realized that Jesus taught us to love our enemies. Does Islam today follow this teaching of Jesus, or has that been changed too?
I am honestly interested in which of Jesus teachings have been outdated in islam today. I remember you saying turning the other cheek was outdated, what else has been changes or outdated? ( feel free to start a new thread on this pub18.ezboard.com/fchrist...D=19.topic ), may I suggest listing Jesus teachings' in the christian gospels in a new thread with the Muslim new understanding interspaced between verses of the Bible?

It doesn't matter why he says to kill, just that he says "to kill" Christ and the NEW testament teaches to "NOT KILL" but to love even our enemies and bless them that curse and would do us harm... thats one of the differences in our religion, your doctrine teaches to kill and ours says not to.
Thats not that hard to understand and not to hard to understand one of the reason we have faith in Christ and His teachings, they are loving and from a loving God. Muhammeds teachings okays killing another, this doesnt seem to be from a God that is in charge.
There are of course other places I have cited as well in your doctrine that show one should kill, among other things that dont set right...

And soon will God show them what it is they have done.
Quran 5.51 ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust.
Here it shows that we are your enemies... your not only to not take us as friends, but are to "estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, " YET your doctrine turns right around and says this...
Quran 5 82.Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.
and this...
Quran Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.
Now those are clear cut contradictions and cannot be chalked up to scribe errors as its not a one or two word discrepancy, but a clear teaching to "hate us" then turns around as says where not so bad after all
Is Mohammed a man of confusion? How do you explain where the quran teaches you to kill? How do you explain these verses as well and their inconstancy?
