I am sorry if this is a ridiculous question...but how do I add emoticons to my board? I have put them on photobucket but now what do I do?

Hiya! I'm not an official helper on this board, but having added heaps of emoticons to my board, I'm a bit of an old hand at it! Here's what ya do...
Go into 'My Community', select 'Custom Images', scroll down to 'Emoticons' and click on 'Edit custom set'. Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on add a new emoticon. Paste the url from photobucket into the 'enter url' box, then give your emoticon a name. To do that, enter your chosen name into the 'Enter Text' box, but make sure the name has a colon at the start of it, ie- is the word eek with a : at the very front of it (hold your mouse over it to see what I mean).
Posted: 8/29/05 1:19 pm Re: emoticonsIf you'd like to add a bunch of emoticons all at one time without having to load, add the emote, then save and wait for the screen to load again just to add more, there is an easy and quick way to do it.
Adding tons of emoticons at once requires Importing and Exporting themes. But this is not as difficult as it sounds. Here is how you go about adding tons of emoticons all at once to your board:
Go to your MY COMMUNITY tab:
Select THEME MANAGEMENT
Place a check mark in the EXPORT CURRENT EMOTICONS box, and uncheck all the other boxes. Then click EXPORT CHECKED.
This will bring you to the THEME EXPORTER screen,
where your current emoticons are listed in the box.
Highlight and copy everything in the box.
Paste the copied text into a notepad
Then add the URL's to your emoticons that you want, making sure to add the required emoticon insertion code of #emotMap and the ezcode of the image that will be used on your board before the URL. There is a space after emotMap, and before the URL to the image. Each added emoticon will be on a separate line, and will be typed sorta like this (notice where spaces are):
When you are finished adding your emoticon url codes to that notepad, SELECT ALL to highlight entire notepad screen and then COPY the text. Return to the MY COMMUNITY tab
Then THEME MANAGEMENT
Select IMPORT THEME
The THEME IMPORTER screen will appear, along with a blank box
Paste the copied notepad text into this blank box, then click on the SAVE CHANGES button.
a CONFIRM THEME IMPORT screen will appear
Checkmark the apply changes to all forums box, then click on the SAVE CHANGES button. If you forget to check or uncheck the apply changes to all forums box, it won't matter because the emoticons are a board-wide item. This will only matter if you have separate emoticons for separate forums. In order to add separate emoticons to separate forums, simply use the FORUM SPECIFIC ADMINISTRATION located on the MY COMMUNITY screen. Export/import those themes by highlighting the forum you wish to edit, then choosing the theme management from there.
