Re: I understand
Thank you for the answer. I request that in light of your present understanding of John 3:16, you stop using it to try and disprove limited atonement. And that you not claim that limited atonement / depravity / election makes God unloving, because the Bible teaches that God hates some, but that doesn't make Him any less loving than He actually is. On my view God is the source of all love and blessings, and even those He hates are blessed by His goodness and enjoy life and rain, families, humanly love, etc.
Re: I understand
God hates some because of their actions... not because he created them to hate them...

Re: I understand
You may explain God's righteous hatred any way you wish, but just don't use John 3:16 as if it means every single individual.
Also, He knew who He would hate before hand, thus going back to my question in the other thread; why would God create people knowing He would hate them? Your answer seems to be that He cannot bring about "free will" without creating people He would hate.
Re: I understand
NO He cannot bring about free will without others hating goodness... which is Him, and He hates "some" because of the acts they commit.

Re: I understand
Really? There was evil in the garden before Adam and Eve sinned? Did God not really mean it when He said, on the 7th day, that everything was very good?
Re: I understand
was she of faith... if so... then why fall... second the serpent "satan" was there as well...

No clue what you're talking about. God created Adam and Eve perfect, having full freedom of choice. What the fall of humanity and satan have to do with that fact, I know not.
Re: I understand
so then they werent perfect They make a mistake.

Re: I understand
Since when do the words "created them perfect" mean "created them so that they would remain perfect"? I never knew it had that meaning and surly didn't mean to imply it, as I had said that they had freedom of choice, which involves the choice to become imperfect.
