Same here. They offer a lot of bandwidth - 2,500 MB a month - which to me is more important than actual space. Miamihosting.com seems good too but they only allow up to 25 kb of files uploaded on the free account and I have a board banner that's 26 kb so i'll just use it for other stuff like emoticons and whatnot.

I just found this website that lists a whole set of websites that host photos for free! :rollin

Have a look at

I tried a selection of the links they suggest, and they all looked suitable. Most have a simple "click to upload pic" system and some even display the URL of your picture for you, so all you have to do is copy and paste it into the forum, easy to describe to newbies on the boards..

Some of them delete your pic if its been up a certain length of time, or if no-one has viewed it for a certain number of months, etc, and the further you delve into the list, the more complex are the requirements, so you need to read the small print of the one you go for..
But I think it seems a pretty useful page?...

www.afreeimagehost.com is another site. Never deletes images after a certain amount of time.

Besides photobucket, I use angelfire, webphotos and allbrandnu.

It's free and you can upload gif, jpg, jpeg, bmp and png files. Hotlinking is allowed. Files must be 20 megs each. You can only upload multiple images by using a zip file. They don't limit disk space but they have the right to change that.

It's free with up to 20MB of space. You can upload multiple images.

www.webphotos.com/
It's free but you can only upload jpeg and jpg files. You can upload multiple images at once.

1) 10MB daily transfer limit (not 5MB)

2) There is no time limit for free accounts or uploading, as you indicate.

3) 120K image size limit for free accounts, not 60K

4) The upgrade page has moved, but the base site link is fine.

Ripway:

1) 10MB daily data transfer limit, also (Ripway and VillagePhotos are owned by the same company)

You can also upload up to 10 files (up to 1 MEG apiece) at the same time.

aha you missed one of the best ones!
