Manveri Alassello
Your board is back, though it looks like it was one of the many boards that lost everything in the May attack. :(

jaimefan, your board is on the p206 server, and that server is down temporarily. Here is a sticky topic in the Server Status Reporting forum regarding this: p080.ezboard.com/fezboard...8018.topic

Three boards nuked, but I just need to admin the fourth, which is still up (although I lost a years worth of posts :-().

bstoneypointboulderers

How long will it be before I can get into My Community?

Brooks.

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
Brooks, I see 2 boards that have been nuked, in your Control Center. bstoneypointboulderers hasn't been nuked, but the other 2 are blocking your management of it.

I'll add the other 2 boards to the list to be "revived". It will probably be done sometime this week. Meanwhile, you can manage bstoneypointboulderers using the workaround given in the first post on this topic.

:)

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
Thanks, but just in case there was a mistake, I believe these three are all nuked:

brodgerhalstonsmessageboard
broyalaquatics
bindependencepark

The rodgerhalston might be under a different user name, but I can't remember. That's probably why I say three and you say two. Is that the problem?

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
Brooks, yes, brodgerhalstonsmessageboard must be under a different name. Is that one causing a problem for a different account, i.e., do we need to ask to have that one denuked, too? If it is, what's the account name that manages that board? (You can PM me or open an Accounts ticket if you don't want to post the name here.)

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
My forum was nuked and I'd like it back. :(

forumforquinctia

How long does a forum have to be inactive and why didn't I get an email or anything? That's odd.

There's another forum in my community tab that's been nuked and I shouldn't have had in my management tab anyway, as I hadn't been an admin there for ages. I don't know if you need to denuke that one so I can remove it, or if you can just remove it for me?

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
Quinctia, I've added bforumforquinctia to the list.

Boards weren't nuked based on a time of inactivity. My understanding is that it was done to boards that had a file size that was under what is considered the minimum size for a board that has any posting on it at all. In this case, they were moved to a special server rather than deleted the way inactive boards have been deleted in a purge, in the past. I believe that, since the boards were considered empty, either closed or never used, it wasn't thought to be necessary to notify owners because the boards were more than likely abandoned.

If you have even one nuked board on your My Community page, it will keep you from managing any other board where you have admin powers, in the normal way (there is a workaround).

What is the WebID of the board you want to have de-nuked then removed from your CC? It would have to be de-nuked first before it can be removed and the removal would have to be done by ezboard. You don't have the option to do that. Once that board has been denuked, if you still don't want it in your CC, you can request that it be removed.

If you don't want to post the WebID(s) here, for some reason, you can send a message to my Inbox.

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
What if you don't know which community is bad? I was admin on a bunch of communites so I am not sure what one I need to take care of. Is there a way to find out which community needs to be deleted or fixed?

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
Zekelor, all the boards at which you have admin powers look okay except bstonesoverturned. Do you want that board removed from your Control Center?

Re: READ FIRST--Can't access My Community tab
Zekelor, I've added you to the list, and you're welcome.

If you didn't already see it, there's a workaround link in the first post on this topic that will let you manage the other boards you admin until bstonesoverturned has been removed.
