Re: Yuku and ezboard
If I transfer my account to yuku, what happens?:

All ezsupporter accounts move
All accounts on that email move
I can/can't get on ezboard with the account any more
The system melts down and we all realise that yuku is inferior.

I'm not budging until I know how messed up my account will be :p

Re: Yuku and ezboard
Keep in mind that, at Yuku, your e-mail address is your account. ezboard accounts migrated to Yuku become profiles on your Yuku account. You can have up to 5 profiles on a free Yuku account and up to 10 profiles on a Supporter account.

ezboard accounts migrate individually. You can wait until a board where your account is a member migrates and let your account migrate with it, or you can migrate your account manually by clicking the migration link in your Control Center. As long as you make sure you are not logged into any Yuku account when you try to migrate an ezboard account manually, you are not likely to have any trouble with the process. If you do, open a Help ticket, select "imports" as the department, and we'll get things sorted out for you.

The exception to accounts migrating individually is if you have more than one account that's on the member list of 1 board. When that board migrates, any accounts that are on its member list migrate automatically at the same time. Each account migrates to the e-mail address that's currently registered for that account. If one of the ezboard accounts had ezSupporter, that profile will have Yuku Supporter and all other profiles on the same account will have Supporter.

A Local ezboard account exists only at the board where it's registered, so, if that board migrates to Yuku, that Local account is no longer accessible at ezboard. (If you have a Local account with messages stored in its Inbox, you should backup the messages to your hard drive before the board migrates.) At Yuku, there are no true "local" accounts, so your migrated ezboard Local account can post at any board in the Yuku system.

Migration doesn't mean your ezboard account moves. It means it is copied to Yuku and becomes a completely separate profile, there. Global ezboard accounts exist independent of any board, so when they migrate, whether manually or with a board's member list, they still exist in the ezboard system. As long as there is an ezboard login page for it to use, it can still be accessed. It would still be wise to keep backups of any important PMs in your Inbox, though, since, eventually, after all viable ezboards and all ezboard accounts have been migrated to Yuku, ezboard accounts will be eliminated.

Thousands of ezboard accounts have already migrated to Yuku, most with no problem whatsoever. Once you learn how Yuku works, I really don't think you're going to think it's inferior.

:)

Re: Yuku and ezboard
I've been using it for two years.. I know how it works and what it's like: I just haven't got around to migrating some of the accounts yet :p

Thanks for the detailed information though! :)

Re: Yuku and ezboard
heh, sorry, I am famous for wording people to death. In this case, I just didn't think those questions could be answered adequately with a yes or no.

You're welcome.

:)
