Tolkien's word game.
Your word/s must begin with the last letter of the previous entry's word/s. Beware! This time, characters' names are not allowed, but you can post anything else: rivers, mountains, cities, realms, towers, forests etc.
Guessed it? Then you can post too, but you need to tell us about the name you guessed. So we all will learn a bit more about Tolkien's world
For example:

Hmm... Eregion is a part of Eregion? Well, yes, very literally, yes...
But since you decided to rename me too (and I do hope that to name me now Lolendur doesn't mean you are loling about :P), I will take you wanted to say a part of Eriador
And yes, it was, and besides, a noldorin realm where the nine, seven and three were forged
Word 2: Nargothrond
The great underground fortress on the river Narog, founded by Finrod Felagund and destroyed by Glaurung (:P)

Word 9: Aeglos - Answer:
This was the name of the spear that Gil-galad used to fight against Sauron and other foes in Mordor.
It is also a type of plant found on the lower slopes of Amon Rûdh, (Túrin went there with Mîm, but you'll need to read "Unfinished Tales") It has white flowers and is prickly like like gorse.
The falls of the Sirannon, beneath the West-gate of Khazad-dûm, where the Gate-stream of the Sirannon made a waterfall before run out across the grasslands of Eregion. The falls took their name from the stair carved beside them in the rock of the cliff.
The stone of the Hapless, is a Grey stone put in place by Mablung, to mark where they burried Túrin Turambar. It also served as a memorial for Nienor. It is said that this stone will never be cast down by Morgoth. It was never orginally going to be in the story, Tolkien wrote that part in the margin later.

Word 13: Nenuial is also called Lake Evendim in northern Arnor, north of the Shire. The name means (I hope) Water of the Twilight. King Elessar and Queen Arwen stayed there for a while after visiting the Shire.
One of the seats of the Kings of Arnor (the name means North Fortress). It lies about 100 miles northward of Bree, and Lake Evendim is part of it (I hope?). By the end of the Third Age, the people of Bree thought Fornost was a haunted place.

The Forest of great Fear. The greatest of the forests of Middle-earth that lay in the lands east of the River Anduin. Earlier called Eryn Galen, 'Greenwood the Great', it changed its name when the shadow of Sauron spread through the forest.

"Dwarf-cavern", the Elven name for Khazad-dûm. The root hadhod is unique, the only known attempt by the Elves to render a dwarvish word, Khazâd, into Elvish sounds.
