Updates.
Comics 149 and 150 should be up by the time you read this.

I've been pretty busy lately, but I finally got working again. I also made some updates to the archives, including a new filler image, and a new image in the "tributes" section called Visa Thief.

Enjoy. :)

I really, honestly cannot describe the happiness with which I see these new comics. I could try, but I'd just fail horribly, so I won't. Maybe I'll see if I can commision something. ^^

In the meantime... little somethings from Vana'diel:
Elvaan smily: <|^_^|>
Mithra smily: =^_^=

...still working on the rest...

*whew*

I know the comics aren't much, but they're the first progress in two years. :D After making three comics in two days, I took a break and went to see Shrek 2 - awesome movie, recommend it to everyone. Literally. Everyone.

Anyway, after the "filler" comics (and a hell of a lot of behind-the-scenes work) I feel like I'm back in the groove. Still got a shaky computer setup, but it's working for me, oddly enough. To switch from Linux (which I use for everyday browsing, writing, basically everything except drawing) to Windows XP (which I use primarily for drawing/creating Reset) I have to change the cable from one hard drive to another. I know there's a software solution to this that will allow me to dual-boot without hardware issues, but I've been too lazy to seek it out.

Ah... So I'm back. For real this time. ^_^

Has it really been two years? *shakes head* I'm glad to see we're nearing our climax after the long awaited hibernation... Looking forward to it indeed!

Yes, me too. And it was two years? Good word, time really flies

And hmm, about the harddrive thing; well, my dad knows a lot about computers and such, so in the morning (... oh who am I kidding, I never get up before 1 pm) I'll ask him about it

I've got some code for the linux bootloader I use, GRUB, and I've tried it, but for whatever reason it doesn't work and I've been too lazy to go to the justlinux forums and ask them why. :p

Ohh okay

*pause* ... and I remember I was going to ask my dad about that harddrive situation, but totally forgot. Damnit, and it's too late now; better write it down in a Notepad reminder so I don't forget it tomarrow

I love how nerds use notepad to write notes to themselves instead of an actual notepad. Never fails to amuse me :D

Okay, this is basically what my dad said:

"You can either get boot mastering software, reinstall one or the other or search Google Groups with how to dual boot between the two. Both Linux and Win XP both do have boot mastering software so if Linux/Win XP is installed
while the other is running, it should automatically do it. It can be tricky and you do risk loosing your stuff, so you better back up your stuff"

Re: *exploding with happiness*
Thanks for the heads-up. Yeah, I've already got both systems up and running separately, so I can't do a reinstall, but I know there are commands for Grub (the linux bootloader) that will boot winxp. I've just been putting off the research. I have writing to do, comics to write, games to play... ;)

You're welcome; and yeah, that sounds like me :D Why do something now when you can put it off to do later so you can do other things now. Speaking of which, I haven't really played a game in over a month or so... and I have so many I need to beat :| I guess finish off Starcraft and its expansion then

I've started Starcraft three times over the last four years, and I've never gotten past the Zerg missions. I just can't stand using them, the sounds are so bizarre. And you really can't play effectively without the sound.

But I have been better about my console gaming. Just this week I've beaten Metroid: Zero Mission and Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time.

Both of which were awesome, btw.

Re: *exploding with happiness*
Yeah. I'm nearing the end of the human campaign. I also have a bunch of computer and console games to go. I just get stuff at much higher rate then I play them. Exspecially when I got $800s a couple months ago because of a disablity thing of my father's; I made up for many a poor Christmas and birthday with that game wise (and a few other things, like the Alien Quadrilogy)

And ooh, yeah; I haven't gotten very far with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, but I did beat and really loved Metroid: Zero Mission. Exspecially near the end, with the Space Pirate ship. I love that; so thrilling and exciting, trying to get to the Power Suit back without getting caught and killed

I found that section to be appropriately chilling. It scared me without being too difficult, like some of the sections in Metroid Fusion. Great games. :) Can't wait to see what Nintendo does with Prime 2.

Yeah really :D It was great.

And yes, I can't wait either. The storyline sounds a bit strange for a Metroid game, but I don't care. I want to play it

Dude I passed all the missions in Starcraft. Zerg's probably my favorite race, there's more challenge to it, even if the sounds are screwy.Toss is too easy, you just make carriers and beat the @#%$ out of everything. Nah, I like a challenge. And clearing a base with zerglings is always hilarious.

I have a feeling I'm gona get shot but: I REALLY tried to like the cube recently. But all the games I like on it are Japanese imports. Actually, my two favorites are Zelda, Ocarina of Time (yes, the 64 game) and a Japanese fighting game that Rocks. Course smash-bro's is good, and monkeyball has its place. I just keep going back to the X-box.

I HATED prime. Went 3 hours and hated it. I was told it got better and I hadn't given it enough time. Well my opinion is that if the game doesn't have you in 3 hours, its lost its chance.

Wind Waker is eh.

I just feel that people who like Nintendo still are either in it for the "die hard' fandom of it all or because they have to keep up appearances. I have yet to have ANYONE play the xbox games I told them to and not go out and get one. Except of course those who don't have unlimited cash flow. So I suppose that means that I have two or three people. But anyway.

I'm not convinced. Give me your xbox and we'll talk. ;)

As far as systems go, there are pros and cons for each of them. I like the cube because it suits my style. To each their own, neh? Of course, if I did have more cash, and had all three systems, I might be able to make a more unbiased decision. As it is, I've discovered some pretty sweet games for the 'cube that I wouldn't have found if I'd had an xbox or ps2. For instance, Viewtiful Joe. Hard as hell, but kickass. And much as I hate to admit it, Animal Crossing held my attention for eight months... >.>
