He sighed and stared forward, glancing at the compass embedded in the wheel post.
"Great, he muttered, "about a day and a half as the birdlady flys."(sp?)

"Excuse me? I'm a Fairy, not a bird lady. hmph! And I'm sorry that I never took the time to figure out just how long the trip would take by boat! I mean, it's not like I was fighting a war!...Oh wait...Actually I was!" She said, frustraited and offended. She took a breath and stalked to the opposit end of the ship to cool her head.

Damon chuckled as the fairy stormed off in a huff. Women were so misunderstanding.
At the other end of the ship, one of the Scalari brothers swung down next to her.
"Hey baby did it hurt?"

Megumi glaired at the Scalari brother. "no, but you will shortly, you slime." She growled. She was in no mood for such behavior. Her wings began glowing faintly and he suddenly found the seat of his pants on fire.
bic: The other Scaleri brother landed next to her.
"He means about falling from Heavan, you know; did it hurt." He looked at her wings. "Tcha, got a light?"

Shadrak looked up, grinned suddenly and hopped up as if his chair had caught fire. He saluted and ran up on deck. He didn't pause, he just flew past the crew and jumped off the deck, rising moments later as the black dragon he so was! He circled, searching for landmasses of some sort.

From up high in his crow's nest, Willie watched Shadrak circle.
"Waverm durn drargon razza frazza ragga rigga mar jrob and everthern ern izza mah spot! an izza ma JROB!" He hook his meaty fist at the dragon.
ooc: Wouldn't it be great if Willy got to ride Shaddy the dragon?
Shadrak saw Willie shaking his fist at him from the crow's nest and realized that Willie prolly thought this was his job. Shadrak did the equivilant of a dragon shrug and swooped down on Willie. He caught him up in one claw and flew right back up, and back into his search pattern for land. See anything? Shadrak grinned.

The whole ship did a double take as Willie was snatched, screaming, from his crow's nest. But as Shadrak flew with him, his terror lessoned and was replaced by awe, then rising excitment. He stuck his arms out kicked his legs, screaming with joy.
"AAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGGA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Azugie fabada! Wahaaaaaaahahahahaha! Aaoooogaaaa!"

Megumi looked suddenly embarrassed. The one scaleri bro's pants suddenly went out. "I'm sorry! I missunderstood! I..." her cheeks began turning red. "I'm not an angel. but... um...Oh, I'm so sorry...I thought...well...It's not exactly easy being female and...you know...I'm sorry." Her face was most definately red. "I can heal that..." she said, pointing at his burnt butt to embarrassed about what she did to think about what she had just offered to do.

Dippo, the Scaleri berother next to her looked back at his brother, shocked. His brother Shippo on the other hand looked quite pleased at the prospect of getting fondled by a pretty girl.
"This isn't going to count as a notch in your bed post you know," Dippo said. Shippo laughed then groaned as the pain in his rear flared anew. He was still hanging by his ankle.

Megumi held her hands above, but not touching ( ) Shippo's bottom. Her wings started glowing again, as did the space between her hands and Shippo's bottom. To him, it felt like sitting on a block of solid ice.

Shipp went rigid as the cold hit him. SWhen it was over, he spun around saying to Meg, "Was it as good for you as it was for me baby?" Dipo covered his face and laughed.

Megumi's fist connected with Shippo's face in such a way as to send him spinning and swinging away from her. when he swung back, she swung her staff sending him swinging away again, suddenly aware of how a pinyata must feel.

Shippo cried out as she hit him, chortling and Dippo shook with laughter. Before she could hit him again though he was up the rope in a flash, twisting around it until he had a little swing he was swinging on out of her reach.
"I think she's in love with me," he called to his brother.

It took alot for Megumi to resist the urge to start Shippo's butt (and then some) on fire again. She glaired up at him. "and I think you are a delusional twit and a complete idiot." she then rounded on his brother. "I hope, for your sake, that you are competent enough to not repeat his mistakes. Otherwise you will force me to agree with the seers when they say that your race is doomed." And with that she stalked back to Damon.
"That man is an insufferable twit." she said, refering to Shippo...her heart wasn't in it though. She cast a troubled glance at the horizon, back toward her home. The stress was starting to get to her, she knew.
