Re: The Killing Game (continued)
Kante grinned and nodded. He whirled his horse and set off at a nice trot down the road, the other two followed.
Come on, Shadrak thought to himself, SOMETHING'S gotta happen, it usually does! fire! explosions! death and killing! anything!!! he prayed to the sky.
Kante pointed ahead, "Hey look!" Shadrak leaned forward, hoping for bangy's and boomy's, "It's a cockerel pidgeon! I thought they were extinct!" Kante exclaimed oblivious to the fact that he'd just shattered all SHadrak's hopes. "Look! it's going to take off!" he was now pointed quite obviously at a kind of grey-ish smudge really high in an ancient fir tree.

Re: The Killing Game (continued)
Maverick stared at the grey smudge as it dissappeared into the sky, then turned to Shadrak and noticed the disheartened look on his face. He couldn't help but smile and shake his head. Poor Shadrak. He wasn't meant for the indoors or peace time. He was a dragon, and dragons loved the high places of the world with loud explosions and high adventures. Of course, if Maverick had his way, it'd be 'poor Shadrak' all the way back to civilization. Still, Shadrak was the one subjecting himself to this. If he got to bores he could always leave. And Maverick shuddered at teh thought of what he'd do for fun when he left. Maverick could only pray he was nowhere near him when it happened.

Re: The Killing Game (continued)
ooc: woot! post 1700 in the other worlds, other places place!

Shadrak watched the grey blot fade off into the distance and...get bigger....and bigger....and bigger?
Shadrak's head came up as a grey dragon flew overhead, nearly flooring the trio...excuse me, four friends and two horses. Shadrak followed the grey dragon's flight path for a moment or two then snapped his face back into a level position and frowned, puzzled. A dim light brightened.
"Tantis!" he howled and flew into the air, starting his jump in the form of a man and ending as the impressive black dragon he was, "Get back here you dead beat!" Kante's face was rather pale, and if you listened closely to him instead of Shadrak's ranting, you could just hear him say a slight..."oh..."
Shadrak was still haraunging the strange dragon, and now he was onto something about the grey dragon's mother and his lineage which apparently had a lot to do w/ rodents and females of questionable occupations....

ooc: Ack! Hack! Cough! ((Bows to the porcelain gods in bathroom)) Flu sucks! Ah-hack! Groan, ack!

bic: Maverick looked up to the sky. It was too much to ask wasn't it? With a guy/dragon like Shadrak around, it was just to much to ask. Oh well, he shrugged. Might as well go greet the new guest and pray Shadrak doesn't insult the guy to badly.

ooc: wow... that's creepy, I hack-hack sicky too...mewf

bic:
Shadrak had downed the dragon and they were in the process of toppling trees in some warped version of dragon wrestling.
;;AAAANND 'E IS DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!;; Shadrak's mental-voice was heard echoing through minds for several miles in each direction. The grey dragon picked himself off the ground daintily, "For your information, I'm only the messenger, AND YOU DON'T BLOODY WELL SHOOT THE MESSENGER!!!!" which was about when he lost it. Shadrak cocked his head to the side, "...well, TECHNICALLY, I didn't SHOOT you.... just knocked you around a bit. ^-^"

ooc: U sickie too? With flu? Go figure! But me's getting better. The worst was the first day. I almost passed out I was so sick, and my mom wouldn't call an ambulance or take me to a doctor. Gosh, she sure loves me doesn't she?

bic: Maverick shook his ears trying to stop them from ringing. He openend his eyes and looked over at Kante. "Do you know what's going on?" No, of course he didn't. He was just the guide. "Okay, we have two choices; we could go hide and wait t'ill they start acting semi-normal or we could go and see what's going on. Which would you choose?"

Kante looked over at Maverick, "It's SHADRAK...." he sighed, "we'd better intervene before he hurts himself..."

At the moment, Shadrak and the grey dragon were conversing in secretive tones. It's always hard to tell with dragons, because they always look evil, but Shadrak looked almost a little more evil than usual....

ooc: Sorry it took so long to reply, the net is down at my house and I had to hurry and finish a test to get any time on the computer at all.

ooc: "Shadrak!" Maverick called up to his friend. "Mind introducing us to your new friend?" His horse shifted under him nervously. Obviously it didn't like dragons that well.

Re: The Killing Game (continued)
Shadrak's head whipped around, "FRIEND?!" he howled in tones of mortal indignation. The grey dragon smacked him on the head. "I am Darylia von Taru," the grey dragon announced haughtily, in a rather melodious female voice, "My father adopted this reprobate into the family, and he has been nothing but trouble since the day we met him!" She sounded rather stuck up, and quite a bit like a know-it-all, "My father sent me to track him down for the trillionth time, I assume you're the jailers of this beast?"
Kante cocked his head to one side, female....? hmm...I wonder what SHE looks like in human form!
Kante's cheeks took on a nice healthy, rosy glow. He hadn't heard a word the female dragon had said.
Pretty eyes...all...swirly... Kante grinned obliviously, unaware that he was staring.

"Jailers? Ahh... no." Maverick looked at Shadrak. "We're his friends," he said slowly. Why would he need jailers? Or rather, what jailers could hold him? Either way, he recognized a spoiled snot when he saw one, and he'd seen to meny in his life. He really wasn't taking a liking to this one with her haughtiness and presumptions.

ooc: Practice MEAP test in science! Yuch! A practice when we have the real meap all next week! THAT BEE-OTCH! Ohh, and I've got the internet back! You see Aaron's a real procrastinator when it comes to getting things done around the house, but when it comes to the internet, it'd only be a few days for him at the most. He can't live without it.

ooc: *giggles* well, i's shadrak really... why WOULDN'T he need a jailer! :b hehe
btw, what does 'meap' mean? or stand for?
*l* yeaah, it's great when you have ppl obsessed over things that they prolly can't live without, such things as they deem neccesary to existence generally dun stay broken long^-^

bic:
"Friends..." she said this in the tone of voice she'd probably use to talk about dead rodents. She turned to shadrak, "How in all the blazes did you find friends?! You're dysfunctional, psycho, absolutely obsessed with fire and destruction, yet...you have human friends..."
Shadrak grinned, "I blew up much in a close proximity to the one and the other one is, I believe, equally dysfunctional," he was grinning smugly.
"Though really, I guess you wouldn't know anything about friends, seeing as how you don't have any," he muttered in an undertone to the grey dragon. She aimed a smack at him, but missed due to the fact that Shadrak was rather skilled at ducking from long experience.
"Now now, sister dearest, let's be polite shan't we?" Shadrak lilted mockingly in haughty tones to match his sister.
Kante shifted a little bit out of his dream-world, sister...?...wow...

Shadrak caught an edge of Kante's thoughts and shifted away a bit, rather disturbed by the direction they seemed to be set in.
