Josiah Medicine-Claw listened to the tech. Indeed, the wolves did seem docile, but looks could be deceiving. "Tell me, what are the wolves eating?"
The Mystery Deepens
"Yes, of course." Josiah Medicine-Claw looked at the wolves some more. They looked like plain old Lupus Garou--certainly not Red Talons. There was nothing to suggest even the slightest hint of menace in the eyes of these wolves. Josiah frowned.

"Walks, " Josiah said as he rubbed his chin : "have you ever seen a wolf that "didn't" have an aura of menace in the eyes? Even the most pacifistic Child of Gaia, in Lupus form, is still a creature of rage. It can not be totally submerged." Josiah glanced back at the wolves. "It's as if these creatures have resigned themselves to domesticity." Josiah looked gravely at Walks-the-Steel-Web. "Unless something more sinister lies within."

"I know what you mean, i thin kthats got to be there human side, humans are basicly domestic apes, so even a wolf of a man would change their nature, unless another gift was at work. I think Culls plan back fired instead of creating rage filled warrior kin he created a bunch of pet wolves"

Josiah Medicine-Claw nodded. "What better way to cull the herd--or pack--than to pacify them. This could be the first step in some diabolical plan to weaken the Garou Nation-- by stripping them of their rage. And if this is indeed the case, the ramifications could spread through out all of Gaia's Changing Breeds. Imagine, Walks, none of the Changing Breeds with the desire or will to defend Gaia. What would become of our kind? The
land? The caerns? The umbral glades? Mankind itself?" Josiah Medicine-Claw emitted a low growl at such a grim possibility.
"Na doesnt sound like Culls, even a Wyrm tainted culls, shich as far as any of us know he wasnt last i saw him. He has or had a true primal hatred for humanity and took great plesure in striping them of their humanity, i dont know what you know of the talons but any gift that would make a man look, think, or feel like a wolf he had or saught. But these are real wolves their humans, and not just any human, technologists, more weaver spawn then even the GlassWalkers, their people who indulge technology, some of them are even more machine then man..." Walks shiffered at the last statement "Now i have nothing agaisnt prostetics but replacing a perfectly fine arm with some weaver-tech apendage just because you can? And even more so when you consider their biologist could acomplish the same benifits of a cyber limb with genetic enginner. But now some of their guys chose to be machine men...but i digress, these are the people Culls transformed, if they had a primal spark its so burried in their faith in technology it probably won't surface until their near the end of their new wolf lifespans"
A Different Approach
Josiah thought hard and long, desperately trying to come up with something that could shed more light on the matter. Josiah had little or no use for most weaver technology, preferring to stay as close to nature as possible. Now he cursed himself for being at such a dis-
advantage, during this investigation.
Re: A Different Approach
: n the other paw Walks was indentured to weaver-tech and while he did have a spiritula side he was no theuge. As a philadox he needed to focused on judgement and mediation and was at quite a lost for a solution::
"Maybe if i was if higher station i could reverse this judgement on these people, i mean this is a sentence right souldnt a powerful Philodox beable to counter it...On the same token it was a setent issued by a elder and a theuge does that give it presidence of anything a philidox short of a Grand Elder can circumvent? And it was a Gaia spirit, maybe one becoming a bane due to the unclen fetish that caused this, is it right to counter the movement of Fenris himself? Gah so many questions, what we need is a Ragabash, or maybe a Galiards wisdom, what do you think?"

"Who said anything about it being a man?" Josiah Medicine-Claw grinned.
That night he dreamed of titanium plated, cyber enhanced wolves, running amok in the wilderness and in the streets of the big city.
