DTE 39: ShowdownAuthor's Note: This is the second part of the Assault on the Grand Fortress, and it’s going to be just as crazy as the last chapter!

Previously: - All of the Chosen and their allies split up to rescue the others, destroy the Warbringers and take down Lord Galcian! Joe, Johan and Kali were turned into Droyds by Galcian and one of them was sent to fight each team! They found out that the Digimon can only be hurt by killing the Chosen, so Kurt was forced to kill Joe! Izzy’s group reached Galcian, who took down ExaltedBoltmon in one shot and killed Seraphimon! That’s some power he’s packing!
The Grand Fortress was rocked with explosions coming from all the different battles within it. The people of Valua gazed up at it in fright, praying that nothing would happen to it. For the Grand Fortress is the source of all power for Colonia... if it’s destroyed... Colonia is destroyed.
Izzy, Davis and Kazu all backed away from Lord Galcian. He had just murdered Seraphimon with his Phalanx Sword, and was standing on ExaltedBoltmon’s body. Seth grimaced at the thought of not being able to do anything, and GranKuwagamon stayed back as well, knowing full well he wasn’t powerful enough to fight the deranged leader of Colonia.
“TITAN CANNON!!!”, yelled Titanmon. The Trinity Digimon leaned over and aimed his cannons at Galcian. They fired off a pulsating energy blast that would normally destroy anything in it’s path.
Galcian smiled and leapt off of ExaltedBoltmon. He picked up his body and used him to block the blast! ExaltedBoltmon screamed out in pain.
“Titanmon, stop your attack!”, ordered Izzy. Titanmon did as told and Galcian lowered ExaltedBoltmon’s smoking body.
“You are so weak. Just because your ally is in danger, you won’t shoot through him to get to me? I bet he’d shoot through you.”
“We aren’t him!”, shouted Izzy. “Now don’t try and turn us against each other!”
“But Izzy... you must turn against them.”, said Galcian. “Not just Seth, but all of them. All your little friends. Turn on them all, and maybe I will have mercy on them.”
“What’s mercy mean to you?”, asked Izzy. The red-headed boy glared at the forty-year old man. He was part-Droyd now and not a force to be taken lightly. The fact that he had all the Phalanx Weapons in one hand helped prove that fact.
“Mercy means that they won’t end up like Seraphimon. They’ll end up like Johan instead.”, said Lord Galcian. “You too, GranKuwagamon, have the choice to serve me willingly.”
He looked at GranKuwagamon, who snipped his claws in Galcian’s direction, signifying a no.
“Dude, I’d never let you serve this guy!”, shouted Davis, running over to Izzy. “He just iced Seraphimon!”
“Yeah, besides. You got no history with him!”, added Kazu, running over to support Izzy.
“Oh he doesn’t?”, asked Galcian. “What do you two know? You’ll be incinerated within long anyway. You too, Seth.”
Seth glared at him. And Davis gave Lord Galcian an angry look.
You idiot! Have you forgotten that I now live in the body of Davis?! Leave him out of your vendetta! And I want my weapons once you’re done disposing of these fools!, said Phalanxmon to Galcian, telepathically.
Tough @#%$. Who’s holding the weapons now? I have no need to serve you or spare you.
What?! You dare defy me!?
You know it.
You will pay for this...
“What is it you have with me?!”, asked Izzy. “You always act weird around me! And you’re always willing to spare me!”
“Izzy... let me finally tell you. You are my son.”, explained Galcian. “Born nineteen years ago. I left your mother before you were even born and joined Burns and his army. I had no idea you were alive until a few months ago. I didn‘t realize that after your mother died, that my brother had taken you in and raised you.”
Izzy’s eyes widened.
“WHAT?! That’s bullshit!”, screamed Izzy. “Both of my parents died in a car crash!!! My step mom said so!”
“Maybe. Or maybe she didn’t want to tell you your father was part of an evil army.”
“No! You can’t be my dad! You’re-- you’re--”, Izzy couldn’t even finish his sentence and dropped to his knees. He didn’t want to believe it, but he knew it was true. Davis put his hands on Izzy’s shoulders to comfort him.
“You are one twisted dude. I don’t know why you think Izzy would want to even know he’s related to you!”, shouted Davis.
“You know what, Davis? I’m tired of you and your mouth.”, said Galcian, aiming the Phalanx Crossbow at him.
Galcian! Don’t do it!!!, yelled Phalanxmon.
Die, fool.
He fired it directly at Davis! Davis was too awestruck to move!
“Davis move!”, screamed Kazu.
Suddenly, GranKuwagamon leapt in the way of the blast! It shot through his claw, making him bleed, but it didn’t kill him.
“You are not going to kill these children that easily.”, said GranKuwagamon. “I have worked with them for many years, and I’ll let you know... they always succeed!”
“I’ll let you know something too! You can’t protect them all!!!”
Galcian aimed the other way and shot at Seth! Seth gasped, but Titanmon blasted the shot in mid-air with his Titan Cannon!
“But I can!”, yelled Titanmon.
“Release Guardromon!!!”, shouted Kazu. Guardromon appeared next to Titanmon. “Davis... I think it’s time to try something we haven’t done for a while.”
“Right!”, replied Davis.
“Activate Fusion Evolution!!!”
Guardromon and Titanmon began to fuse together into a new Digimon. Galcian covered his eyes to protect himself from the glow of this evolution.
“What is this?! I thought Titanmon was fully evolved!”
“Nope! Meet Titanmon Tank Mode!!!”, yelled Davis.

“FLOWER CANNON!!!”
Lillymon blew another door off of it’s hinges and it crashed into the room it was guarding. The flower fairy landed and walked in... and screamed.
“I found them!!!”
Chris and Stingmon, who were searching another area, came running. Carolyn and Mercuremon soon followed.
“Oh my god!”, shouted Chris.
All of them were in tubes, but had a bunch of small cords running into their bodies. From left to right were Tom, Amy, Kail, Sam, Jamie, Niomi, JJ and Susie.
“What the @#%$ is being done to them!?”, yelled Carolyn in horror. “JJ!!! Susie!!!”
“He must be preparing them for turning into Droyds! This could be killing them!”, shouted Chris. “Stingmon, bust them out NOW!”
“With pleasure! Spiking Strike!”
Stingmon flew forward and slashed the tube holding Tom. It had no effect. He slashed at it again and again, but the damn thing just wouldn’t break!
“Allow me to try. Dark Reflection!!!”
Mercuremon shot dark energy at the tube, but it simply reflected off. Mercuremon grumbled with disgust.
“I’m out of ideas...”, said Chris.
“I’m not!”, shouted Carolyn, running and sitting down at the computer console. “If I can remember anything Jamie taught me about hacking, then I can free them.”
“But do you?”
“... no.”, she replied. “We have to get them out of there somehow!”
“What if I try this?”, asked Chris. He reached underneath the tube and pulled the cord out. The glass door on the tube opened up.
“Oh thank god.”, gasped Lillymon.
Chris stepped up and looked at Tom, who was in a form of sleep. “Let’s get these cords off of you.”
He reached to pull a cord out of Tom’s arm, but Carolyn shouted at him.
“No! Don’t do it!”, she yelled. Chris stopped.
“Why not?”
“According to this thing I’m reading on Galcian’s computer, removing the cords while they’re being ‘processed’ will kill them instantly.”, read Carolyn. “We have to find a way to shut down the power source!”
“I think I saw the generator in the room we were looking at before.”, suggested Chris. “Go check it out!”
Mercuremon and Stingmon ran into the next room and an explosion ensued. Chris, Lillymon and Carolyn looked on as all the fluid that was being taken out of their bodies stopped. The cords retracted themselves out of their skin. Tom fell out of the tube and Chris caught him, and set him gently on the ground. He groaned and opened his eyes.
“... are you an angel?”, he asked, weakly.
“Call me an angel again and I’ll stick you back in there.”
“Oh, hey Chris.”, said Tom, recognizing the voice.
“Are you okay?”, asked Chris.
“I’m hungry... and I can’t... see... or feel anything...”, gasped Tom. “I can... barely... talk.”
“It’s just readjustment. You had alot of vital fluids taken out of your body, and we’re going to get you better after we get out of here.”, said Carolyn, still reading off the computer. “Thank god they weren’t fully processed.”
Carolyn and Lillymon lifted Jamie and Niomi out of their tubes and set them down next to Tom. Chris looked Jamie over.
“She’s only wearing a towel.”, said Chris, turning red.
“She was probly captured when she got out of the shower. Don’t stare at her!”, shouted Carolyn. Chris rolled his eyes and went over to Susie.
“Hey Susie, you’re not lookin’ so hot.”, he said, lifting her out of the tube.
“Ooh... shut up...”, she groaned, barely conscious.
“Hey, you can’t feel anything, can you?”, asked Chris, noticing his hand was on her ass.
“No... why?”
“Chris, put her down, or I’m going to kill you.”, said Carolyn, lifting Sam out. Chris shrugged and set her down, brushing her hair out of her eyes.
“You’re gonna be okay.”
“Thanks... Chris...”, replied Susie, smiling. Chris went over and got Kail.
“Kail, you ain’t lookin’ so hot either.”
“Is that an insult or a compliment?”, he asked, weakly. Carolyn ran back to get JJ and set him down on the floor.
“JJ, I forgive you.”, she said, smiling.
“Now that’s a face I like to wake up too after I’ve had all my bodily fluids sucked out of me by a robot psycho.”, he said as his sight came back. Carolyn giggled.
Chris ran back and got Amy. He held her over his shoulder and turned to Carolyn and Lillymon. “That’s all of them. But how are we going to get them out of here?”
Mercuremon, Stingmon and Kurt walked in.
“Kurt!”, shouted Chris. “Did you have to... kill Joe...?”
“Unfortunately. But let’s grieve for him later.”, said Kurt. “Phalanxmon can assimilate all of them and carry them out. He can also assimilate the body fluids that was taken from them and re-administer it to them.”
“Do it.”, said Chris.
Kurt released Phalanxmon, and he moved his body into the tubes, and began sucking up fluids from the cords.
“Well, our mission is accomplished. Hopefully the others are doing just as good.”, said Carolyn.

Hangar Bay:
Kali threw Sarah into a wall! Sarah groaned and rubbed her shoulder. Ranamon and Arbormon ran to help her, but she shook her head no.
“Kali! Let me help you!”
Kali grabbed Sarah by her shirt and flung her away again. Arbormon leapt up and caught her.
“I dun think she knows what reason is anymore!”, shouted Arbormon. “Can I please finish her off now? BlackMetalGarurumon isn’t going to be held off much longer!”
Sarah looked to see that AncientGreymon and Garudamon just weren’t enough to deal with an invincible BlackMetalGarurumon.
“I have to keep trying!”
“Sarah... quit putting yourself in denial...”, groaned Allison, getting up from off the floor. She rubbed her head. “Kali is gone. That’s just a Droyd now.”
“Why don’t you shut up!?”, shouted Sarah. “You don’t know what it’s like to lose someone so close to you!”
“Actually I do.”, said Allison, sadly. “My brother Robert. But I got over it. I know he’s with me in my heart. If Kali is like this... then you owe it to her to put her to rest.”
Sarah stared at Kali, who was still wearing a helmet. Sarah was glad she couldn’t see her sister’s face under the helmet.
“... I... do it. Now. Before I change my mind.”
Arbormon walked over to Kali and grabbed her by the neck. He twisted it, and dropped her to the ground. BlackMetalGarurumon broke up and deleted.
“... did I do that?”, asked AncientGreymon.
“Maybe...”, replied Garudamon, both of them confused as to what just happened.
Sarah began crying and buried herself into Allison, who hugged her.
“Well, it’s ah good thing you did that right in front of her.”, said Ranamon. Arbormon sweat dropped and Ranamon tripped him. “The Warbringers ah almost gone.”
“Good. Then we can get out of here.”, replied Allison.

“TITANMON TANK MODE!!!”, shouted Titanmon, now in his new mode. His legs were replaced by treads and cannons had moved to replace where his arms once were. Alot more armor had been added onto him, thanks to Guardromon fusing with him.

- Titanmon Tank mode is much more powerful than his previous incarnation. Just wait til you see him in action!
He leveled his cannons at Galcian, who held up ExaltedBoltmon’s body again as a shield.
“You won’t shoot me while I’m holding him.”, said Galcian.
“Then you don’t know me very well. TITAN CANNON!!!”, bellowed Titanmon. He fired his more powerful cannons at the floor, creating a hole in it and causing Galcian to fall through! GranKuwagamon flew over and grabbed ExaltedBoltmon with his free claw before he fell.
“That gives us a moment.”, said GranKuwagamon, looking at Galcian collapsed on the floor below.
“You should all get out of here!”, yelled Titanmon. “He’s only going to use you all as shields so I won’t attack!”
“I’m not running away like some sort of pansy.”, scoffed Seth. “When ExaltedBoltmon wakes up we’ll be ready to fight again!”
“He doesn’t look like he’ll be getting up for a while...”, said GranKuwagamon, tossing ExaltedBoltmon’s body onto the floor near Seth! Suddenly, a red energy blast shot up through the floor, hitting GranKuwagamon and pressing him into the roof! Another one shot up between Seth and ExaltedBoltmon, sending them flying!
“He’s shooting from down there!”, shouted Davis. One blast shot up right in front of Davis and Kazu and they screamed. Titanmon Tank Mode drove over to the hole Galcian fell through and leapt down, landing on his treads on the lower floor.
“TITAN CANNON!!!”
“Hah!”, shouted Galcian, countering it with his Phalanx Weapon. Titanmon began to drive toward Galcian, but Galcian leapt in the air with his advanced agility and swung his axe down, slicing one of Titanmon’s cannons off! He then turned around and stabbed Titanmon with the sword!
Titanmon was a huge robotic tank though, and devoid of being able to be defeated with just one stab. He shot Galcian, knocking him back across the room! GranKuwagamon, Kazu, Davis and Seth were watching from the hole above.
“And me without my popcorn!”, exclaimed Davis. “Those two are really going at it!”
“Perhaps I can strike Galcian while he is occupied.”, said GranKuwagamon, flying down through the hole. Davis and Kazu turned to Izzy.
“Izzy! Come on man, get up!”, shouted Davis. “Why are you so torn up about this?!”
“Yeah! He never raised you, so he can’t technically be a father figure to you! He’s just some psycho control freak overlord!”, added Kazu. Izzy walked over to them, gazing gloomily at the floor.
“I dreamed my whole life of getting to know my real mom and dad. And now I find out that HE’S my dad!”, growled Izzy. “You have no idea what that’s like!”
“Well, he seems to care about you! Maybe you can talk him out of this!”, suggested Davis.
“Maybe.”, replied Izzy. “Let’s go down there.”
Izzy, Davis and Kazu turned and ran for the stairs. Seth returned ExaltedBoltmon to his Digivice and followed them.

“SUPREME CANNON!!!”
Omnimon fired off another gigantic blast that crashed through the side of the Grand Fortress and out into the sky in his attempts to hit ArchAngewomon. But the enhanced angel was just too fast for him! She blasted him with another electrifying Heaven’s Wrath!
“Aaarrgh!!!”, growled Omnimon, staggering backwards. His chest armor was all black and charred from the multiple blasts he took.
“Omnimon! Don’t give up!”, encouraged Tai, but it was hopeless. Omnimon was being smacked around like a rag doll. ArchAngewomon hurled him into a wall, and before he had time to move, she was already above him and slugged him in the face! He hit the ground and she flew down and stomped on his stomach!
“Ooof! Agh! Tai! Matt! I can’t keep this up!”, shouted Omnimon, in pain. Tai turned to Johan, who was watching them fight.
Hmm... last time Omnimon shot at Johan, ArchAngewomon deflected the attack... but if they’re only Droyds, then why would she want to protect him?, thought Tai.
“Matt, I’ve got it!”
“What?”
“Let’s attack Johan!”, suggested Tai.
“What the hell good will that do?”, asked Matt.
“I’ve got a hunch, just help me on this one.”
“But you know how strong he is!”, shouted Matt. “Remember, he’s a Droyd now! And we promised Kazu--”
“If he’s a Droyd then it doesn’t matter! Just come on!”
Tai ran at Johan and Matt rolled his eyes, then decided to follow him. Tai tackled Johan onto the floor! As Johan’s back slammed into the floor, ArchAngewomon twitched a little, allowing Omnimon to finally hit her!
“Oh, I get it. Galcian fitted all the Digimon’s sensory receptors into Johan, so that ArchAngewomon will only feel pain if he does. Ingenious! He knew we would be restricted against hitting Johan!”
“Uh... yeah. Whatever you say. I just wanted to hit him.”
Johan threw Tai off and Matt punched him in the gut! ArchAngewomon flinched and Omnimon smashed her aside.
“Tai! Matt! Clear out! SUPREME CANNON!!!”
Tai and Matt ran for it and Omnimon blasted Johan! Johan was destroyed, and ArchAngewomon broke up and deleted. Tai and Matt let out a huge sigh of relief.
“So what do we tell Kazu?”, asked Matt.
“He self-destructed.”

Back at the top:
“TITAN CANNON!!!”, yelled Titanmon, firing out of his remaining cannons. Galcian held up the axe, using it as a shield! The force of the blast pushed him back along the floor but he managed to keep his footing!
“Hah! Why do you even keep trying? If I am to be defeated, it won’t be by you!”
GranKuwagamon dove in behind Galcian, claws ready.
“DIMENSION SCISSORS!!!”
He slashed Galcian across the back, sending him crashing forward into Titanmon’s attack! Galcian screamed as he was flung back into the wall. He fell to the floor, smoking and panting.
“Or by YOU!!!”, he yelled. He aimed the sword at GranKuwagamon and blasted him right in the face! GranKuwagamon screamed out and deleted!
“No!!!”, shouted Davis as the four of them came running in to the lower room. Their jaws all dropped upon seeing their old friend’s data scatter through the air.
“What the hell!? You want me to join you... you want to be my dad... and yet you keep doing this?!”, exclaimed Izzy, angrier than he ever had been. “You can just go to hell! Seth, do the plan!”
“Release Boltmon!!!”, shouted Seth. Boltmon leapt out of his Digivice and ran at Galcian.
“What the-- you think Boltmon can--”
“TITAN CANNON!!!”
Galcian was blasted in the side and held up his axe to protect him again. Boltmon leapt straight at him!
“Wh-what!? Nooo!”, yelled Galcian.
“TOMAHAWK CRUNCH!!!”
Galcian was forced to stand completely still as Boltmon brought the axe down right in his wrists where he was holding the Phalanx Weapons, severing both of his hands! He screamed out in pain as circuitry and blood appeared, and then Boltmon slammed him back into the wall!
“Davis, Kazu! Go!”, shouted Izzy. Davis and Kazu dove in while Boltmon blocked them. Davis grabbed the crossbow and sword while Kazu collected the ruby and axe! They ran for it and Izzy stepped in front of Galcian, who was groaning in pain and attempting to clutch something, but finding it hard to without his hands.
“So... ‘dad‘. This is how it turns out.”
“Izzy, please! I... acck... I’m your father! You’ve always wanted to get to-- uhhnn-- know me, right? This-- this is your chance! I abandon the Droyd project, I’ll release your friends, anything!!!”
“This is for Seraphimon, GranKuwagamon, Lord Burns, Joe, Johan, Kali, and anyone else that was ever desecrated by the stench of your evil.”, said Izzy, stepping aside. “Titanmon!!! Do it!!”
Titanmon groaned as his cannons clicked into place... the fight was beginning to take it’s toll on him. But he was ready for this one final shot.
“Izzy! No! I’m begging you!!!”
“TITAN CANNON!!!”
Galcian was unable to move or do anything as the blast hit him full force. It pushed him back and sent him flying out the wall, screaming!
“Ah!”, gasped Davis and Kazu.
“Whoa...”, gasped Seth.
Galcian exploded in mid-air, creating a huge shower of fire to pour down over Valua. Izzy clenched his fists. It was done, he was finished.
Titanmon gave out and collapsed back into Cybermon, Tentomon, Veemon and Guardromon, all of whom lay sprawled out over the floor. Kazu and Davis ran over to Izzy.
“Izzy, we did it!!!”, shouted Davis. “We just saved the world!”
Cybermon returned to Chris’s Digivice, and their partners returned to their own.
“Ugh.”, groaned Kazu. “Here, Davis, hold these.”
Kazu gave Davis the other two Phalanx Weapons and went to go look out the hole that Galcian flew through with Izzy. Davis grinned unnaturally, and Seth raised his eyebrow at Davis.
Heh heh... those fools..., thought Phalanxmon.
“Do you think he’s really gone?”, asked Kazu.
“Yeah... I do.”, said Izzy. “It’s just too bad... I mean... he was my father... but I could never have... ever forgiven him for what he did.”
“Yeah, poor GranKuwagamon and Seraphimon...”, sighed Kazu.
Suddenly, the whole Grand Fortress began to rumble and shake violently!!! Boltmon lost his footing and fell on his ass, as did Davis.
“What the hell is going on now?!”, exclaimed Seth.
“I have no idea!”, replied Davis.
Izzy ran over to a control console and called it up. His eyes widened.
“Self-destruct?! This whole thing is going to explode!!!”, he yelled. “It must have been a preset condition for if Galcian died!”
“So he’s trying to take us with him?!”, exclaimed Davis. “How rude!”
“We gotta get out of here!”, shouted Izzy, frantically. “Seth, can you--”
Izzy stopped in mid-speech as he saw Boltmon leap through the hole in the wall out in Valua, carrying Seth.
“Have fun exploding, Phalanxmon!!!”, yelled Seth, laughing maniacally. “You too, you DTE losers!!!”
“Seth!!! Wait, Seth!!!”, screamed Izzy.
“Damnit! Bastard traitor!”, cursed Davis. “But why did he call us Phalanxmon?!”
“I have no idea!”, replied Izzy, not really caring right now. “Release Tentomon!!!”
Tentomon appeared on the floor in front of Izzy, looking fairly dazed.
“Activate Green Ring!!!”, shouted Izzy, slashing his green ring along the Digivice. Nothing happened. “Tentomon! What gives!?”
“I’m all Digivolved out, Izzy!”, replied Tentomon. Izzy returned him. Davis and Kazu released their partners too, but they were in the same condition.
“It’s from Titanmon! He took alot out of them!”, explained Kazu.
“So now what do we do!? No way we can make it down in time!!!”
“I really don’t know, Davis...”, muttered Izzy.

“What is that?!”, exclaimed Tai, as all the rumbling started.
“I don’t know! But let’s get outta here! Omnimon, make a door!”, ordered Matt. Omnimon did as told and they all flew out of the Grand Fortress.

“Move it, move it!”, shouted IceDevimon, leading his army out of the hangar bay. Garudamon flew out, carrying Sarah, Allison, Alyssia, Nadia, Arukenimon, Mummymon, Arbormon and Ranamon.
“This whole place is going up!”, shouted Sarah. “We need to move faster!!!”

On a street in Valua, Chris’s team was already long gone. They looked up as the Grand Fortress rumbled violently.
“What is that...?”, asked Amy.
“The Fortress must be self-destructing!”, shouted Chris. Suddenly, he saw a light fly into his Digivice. “Hey! Cybermon’s back!”
“So that means Titanmon did it!”, shouted Tom. “Score one for the good guys!”
“Yeah...”, muttered Susie. “Either that or he--”
Suddenly the Grand Fortress went up in a huge explosion!!! The pillar of flame shot into the sky above the clouds and debris began to rain down on the whole sector!
“Everyone take cover!”, shouted Kurt. Phalanxmon stretched over the large group of Chosen to form a shield that would protect them from debris. When it stopped, Omnimon landed near them.
“Hey hey.”, said Tai, leaping off.
Garudamon and the others from the Hangar Bay came next and rejoined the group.
“Operation Kick Some Ass went over real well!”, shouted Alyssia. “And it looks like everyone is here and well...”
“Except for Izzy, Davis and Kazu...”, gasped Allison. “Where are they, Chris?!”
“I don’t know!”, he replied. “They’re probably just slow!”
Amy gasped. “Yeah... or they were still in there! If Cybermon came back to your Digivice, then he must have been knocked out! That means their Digimon would have been knocked out too, if they were part of Titanmon!”
“No... no way...”, replied Chris in disbelief. He picked up his communicator. “Izzy!!! Izzy, are you there?!”
Nothing but static came through. Everyone looked at each other nervously.
“Davis!? Kazu!!! Damn! I’m getting nothing!!!”, he yelled, hurling his communicator to the ground.
“But that means--”, began Kail.
“They’re dead!”, shouted Allison, crying. “They’re all dead!!!”
Allison buried herself into Chris, and he put his arm around her to comfort her. A SILVER Dragon Lies Beneath!
I took the"new"Inner Dragon Online Quiz and found out I am a Silver Dragon on the inside. My Inner Dragon is to dragons what the Ranger is to humans. Like all metallic dragons, Silvers rigidly adhere to an internal code of conduct. Each Silver, however, must develop their code individually, a fact which explains their unique dispositions and actions. Silvers are often considered shadows dwelling on the periphery of dragon culture (much like human Rangers), but they can always be counted upon to speak the truth and help their allies. Because no one but a Silver knows what they'll do next, their alignment is "Chaotic Neutral."
Being a Silver isn't all shady head-games, though. I possess considerable intelligence and self-confidence (whether they manifest themselves or not :P ). Magic isn't really my bag, but I'm awfully good at slipping in and out undetected. Which, by the way, is probably due to my slightly-below-average size. My favorable attributes are dependability, durability, problem-solving, mist, and pewter. Like my human counterpart - the Ranger - I'm a superb weapons user and have an especially good command of my icy breath weapon. I know I might be tough to understand at times, but that's just my way.
