As the name indicates...this RPG will revolve around Crossroads and New Beginnings.CrossroadsWe would like to see characters come to a 'crossroads' in their lives where important and life changing decisions have to be made. These events can be very personal...i.e. a relationship beginning, ending or changing, or they can be moral or spiritual. Whatever is decided, they should show 'growth' for your character.New BeginningsThis can be any number of items as well and most likely will relate back to the 'crossroads' in your character(s)' life or lives and/or career. They may be starting a new career as teacher or student at Xavier's School for the Gifted or may have been selected to train for the upcoming X-Men team(s). Their 'new beginning' once again may be as simple as establishing a new relationship or changes in an old one.

Stacy laughed out loud as he started getting flustered. Shen was sort of...cute...in a non-traditional sort of way. He seemed to be having trouble remembering English, "Is that so?" He said in some strange language. Stacy laughed, "Guess I'll take tha' as ya know an' I'm jus' so hot tha' ya forgot how ta speak English. I jus' struck ya with my ray of sunshine." The dry wit in her voice was very plain, she was joking with him (something that Stacy NEVER did with men).
Something about him...Stacy couldn't pinpoint it. "Then I have a slight advantage, I am trilingual, I speak Tibetan, Mandarin dialect Chinese and English," Stacy was really laughing now. "Tha's it, take off yer pants. I can't stand it anymore." She had been joking, yes, but Stacy had no idea what 'too far' meant. She was vulgar, crude and she had no idea what 'decent' was. What many called grotesque behavior, was just normal for Stacy...second nature.

Re: Attempting EnlightenmentWho: Shen With: Stacy X When: Later-Afternoon Where: Gardens of the Xavier Institute
Stacy was playing some sort of game. Shen did not know the bounderies himself, he had never engaged in this sort of activity. He wasn't much for flirting or socializing. However something about Stacy brought his long dormant side out, the side which had died the day he had seen his mother shot. He turned his focus away from that for a moment. No need to focus on the past. The past didn't exist. Now was all there was, all there was ever going to be.
"Guess I'll take tha' as ya know an' I'm jus' so hot tha' ya forgot how ta speak English. I jus' struck ya with my ray of sunshine."
"Given my physical brain would have bent any light you might admit, I doubt that," Shen said coyly. He only limitedly understood the physics of his current brain. He knew the black hole bent light, it was how he saw and heard. He also knew that the black hole effected gravitational fields around him, thus how he could levitate, speak, breathe, and eat. Shen did not understand what else the black hole was capable of doing, and truth be known, he didn't want to find out.
"Tha's it, take off yer pants. I can't stand it anymore."
Shen heard her laughter and couldn't help but laugh slightly himself. Here he was, having fun, Shen Xorn seldom had fun. However he was enjoying himself with a woman who was...not polite to say the least. However, he was not complaining, they had slightly similiar senses of humor, taking their relative situations and manipulating them to their benefit. Shen finished laughing and stood at arm's length from Stacy. Very slowly, as not to frighten her, he extended his arm. He placed his hand gently on her left shoulder. He could feel the scales of her skin and he was sure that she could feel the scars on his fingertips and on his palms. Shen didn't say anything for a long moment.
"If you wish freedom, perhaps I can give you a key to it. I know for myself I will spend many lifetimes before I am free of reincarnation and finally allowed Nirvana. You however, you might not need the cycle of countless rebirths. I can teach you how to free your mind, if you so wish it," Shen said slowly, his hand still on her shoulder. The darkness which were his eyes looked into Stacy's hazel eyes. The cold steel of the helmet glinted in the light of the setting sun. Shen said nothing after that, it was up to her what would happen next.

Re: Attempting EnlightenmentWho: Stacy X

When: Later-Afternoon

There were more than a few times in Stacy's life when she felt so out of her element that she felt as if she better run and hide. Today, however, it was very obvious that Stacy was learning about a different side of herself, but she was not going to run. Shen was so different from the men she had slept with. He wasn't trying to feel her up, he wasn't trying to stick money in her pocket and he certainly wasn't giving her any indication that he was going to start that kind of stuff.
He was too...logical. It made too much sense for him to be who he was. He and Stacy were alike, they were mutants, yes, and understood the depth of sorrow and pain. But had it cured him of being a man? Men, in Stacy's opinion, were only after one thing...and it wasn't her brain, that was for sure. Smiling, she enjoyed his wit. "Given my physical brain would have bent any light you might admit, I doubt that," And he didn't even use her dirty comments against her! What a gentleman...
Before Stacy realized what was happening, Shen had slowly brought his hand up to touch her shoulder. At first, Stacy's body visibly tensed; he was touching her in a way that most men paid a minimum of 300 dollars to touch. But he wasn't headed straight for her breasts or trying to push her down onto the ground for a 'test run' before he paid her. No, he was merely...touching. Touching without sex...did that happen? Stacy watched him wide eyed as he placed his palms on her...she could feel the scars on his hands.
Looking at his helmet, where there would've been a face...she wondered just how much a person could endure. He had obviously been broken a thousand times, and yet, here he was before her, gently touching her. With extra care not to unleash her powers on him, she slowly turned so they were face to face. "If you wish freedom, perhaps I can give you a key to it. I know for myself I will spend many lifetimes before I am free of reincarnation and finally allowed Nirvana. You however, you might not need the cycle of countless rebirths. I can teach you how to free your mind, if you so wish it,"
As not to frighten him or make him feel awkward, she reached down and took his hand in hers. "There's never gunna be spiritual freedom fer me, babe. I ain' wha' God, or Buddah, or Allah's lookin' fer. They's lookin' for people like you, people who are good inside an' out. In tha' bible an' stuff, they talk abou' people that've suffered, an' those people, they git' Nirvana or Heaven..." Looking away briefly, she sighed. "Ya know what they do ta hookers? They stone em' to death." The only hooker that ever 'redeemed' herself was Mary Magdalene...and Stacy wasn't sure she had even gone to heaven.
Swallowing once more, she gave him a smile. "But ya gave me a taste a' freedom today. Freedom from my own bias...ya know, I ain' never touched a man before who hasn' paid me for it?" Squeezing his hand, she spoke once more. "An' tha's more than anything I could ever ask for."

Re: Attempting EnlightenmentWho: Shen With: Stacy X When: Later-Afternoon Where: Gardens of the Xavier Institute
Shen knew enough of the reactions of the human body to feel Stacy tense slightly. He lifted his hand gently. He could feel her tension, her nervous fear. He could see her body retreat a little bit. He should have known not to do that. She probably associated what he had just done with some men that went to her world. He would never take advantage, it was not his way. However, he did understand her fear, it was the same fear Shen had of the prison system, not what would actually happen, but what could happen, that was what fear was, the unknown possability.
Shen had never been on this sort of footing, he had been in Chinese prison camps for 11 years of his life. There he had gone so far into his own mind that he was not surprised that the black hole had developed. Perhaps it was the depth of the introspection which had caused the hole is space/time to open. Shen had known pain and had learned how to transcend physical sensation all together. Now, even though his hand had touched Stacy, it was safe to say although his skin had felt her skin, Shen had not felt her. Shen had detached his mind from the physical sensations of his body long ago and he doubt he could ever get them to return.
Shen's skin felt the sensation of Stacy's skin, his hand in her hand. Shen couldn't feel it himself though. Shen's 'eyes' were looking into her eyes. This was the closest to touch he got, the looking into someone's eyes, the sight of his unhuman reflection in their eyes. It was disturbing and yet tranquil. Shen's helmet reflected light, but seldom images, and Shen himself had no eyes.
"There's never gunna be spiritual freedom fer me, babe. I ain' wha' God, or Buddah, or Allah's lookin' fer. They's lookin' for people like you, people who are good inside an' out. In tha' bible an' stuff, they talk abou' people that've suffered, an' those people, they git' Nirvana or Heaven...But ya gave me a taste a' freedom today. "Because it is Great means it is everywhere. Being everywhere means it is eternal. Being eternal means everything returns to it," Shen quoted, "Lao Tzu."

Stacy was still touching him, still holding his hand in hers. It was taking every ounce of her strength not to break the contact, not to take two steps back. That was her MO...she would take one step forward and then end up taking two giant steps back. It was a good feeling to have a person there with her, touching her...it was almost like having a friend.
Shen was sort of her friend, he was trying to help her, at least."Because it is Great means it is everywhere. Being everywhere means it is eternal. Being eternal means everything returns to it," "Lao Tzu." Stacy sighed, "I don' know wha' tha' means, Shen. I ain' smart like ya are. An' if tha' last part was a sneeze, then' God bless ya." It hurt that she didn't understand what he was saying. She wanted to understand what he was saying...it just wasn't clicking.
Looking down, she took his other hand. "Look, it ain' because I don' like ya. I jus' can't respect religion like tha..." Looking down, she sighed. She was about to tell him something that she hadn't told anyone before in her life. Everyone thought she was hard-as-nails, never worried about anything, badass chic. But it wasn't true...not all of the time. "How could I turn ta some God who make me look like I do..."
Looking down at the scales all over her body, she sighed. "There's nobody I wan' ta worship who has a sense of humor like the bastard who did this ta' me. I'm ugly, there ain' nothing else ta say abou' it. Men have sex with me 'cause my powers make sex more enjoyable than anybody else...but tha' don' make me beautiful ta' anybody. Tha's just what my power is." Biting her lip, she avoided where his eyes would've been. "So, I'm sorry. I just can't."
Re: Attempting EnlightenmentWho: Shen With: Stacy X When: Later-afternoon Where: Gardens of the Xavier Institute
Shen saw that she did not understand Lao Tzu. Few Westeners understood the father of Taoism and even Shen had difficulty interpreting Lao Tzu from time to time. The passage he had chosen to quote from the Tao Te Ching was a reflection on the essence of the self in his opinion. Stacy however thought he was talking about God. Shen normally didn't talk much about his religious beliefs, but he knew now was the time to listen rather than to speak.
"Look, it ain' because I don' like ya. I jus' can't respect religion like tha...How could I turn ta some God who make me look like I do..."
"One of the many side effects of my mutation is that I no longer see things the way others do. Most just see a very limited amount of the spectrum. I, on the other hand, see any wavelength I desire. It is not what the substance is, but what it appears to be, and the appearance and the real thing are sometimse quite different. You are more beautiful than many," Shen said, and pulled his hands away slightly. If he had skin, he would be blushing. The truth of the mater was that Shen thought she was good looking, her eyes were what had captured him. Her skin, though different, was enchanting, exotic even. If she could not see her own inner beauty though, she would never see her outer beauty for that matter.
Tha's just what my power is. So, I'm sorry. I just can't."
"I don't ask you to believe in God, if such a being exists. Zen Buddhism worships no God. I myself don't believe in God after what I experienced. I don't ask you to believe in God, but rather in yourself," Shen stated simply. He had lived through hell and through the fire he had been forged. He had been born with a star in his brain and he should have died when it collapsed. He endured rather. He had made it this far without succumbing to the dark power of the black hole. He had done this only by intense focus, countless hours of meditation. He had given up whole years of his life to perfect the ability to hold his mind seperate from his body. Shen had given up so much to become what he was, and now he was letting the walls fall.

OOC: Due to the upcoming roll over, I'm really playing with the time, lol. Sorry about that!
Stacy had to wonder what Shen really say beneath that helmet. He didn't seem to have eyes but then again, he seemed to know where she was. Luckily, instead of leaving her to wonder, he actually spoke of it...trying to make her feel better, no doubt, but Stacy wasn't going to take anything easily. "One of the many side effects of my mutation is that I no longer see things the way others do. Most just see a very limited amount of the spectrum. I, on the other hand, see any wavelength I desire. It is not what the substance is, but what it appears to be, and the appearance and the real thing are sometimse quite different. You are more beautiful than many,"
Looking down, Stacy felt a blush creep into her cheeks. With her scales however, she looked no different. She did not convey embarassment or flattery like other women; she was a breed all her own. "Tha's sweet Shen..." She said, with a small smile. "But tha' my point. Ya can' really see my body...ya can' see the disfigurement tha' I have. Still, I can' lie, I'm shocked. I don' think my personality is real shinin' either. It must be tha' hormones." It was very hard for Stacy to believe that anyone thought her pretty so she just kept doing what she always did, finding some reason to explain it. There was no way he thought she was pretty, it just wasn't possible...
Even in the throes of passion, men never said she was beautiful...and everyone knew men in the throes of passion thought everything was beautiful. As if he was reading her mind, he spoke again; "I don't ask you to believe in God, if such a being exists. Zen Buddhism worships no God. I myself don't believe in God after what I experienced. I don't ask you to believe in God, but rather in yourself," Taking a deep breath, she looked toward the horizon. The sun would set soon and once again it would be night. "Babe..." she said, with a gentle sigh, "It's gunna be a long time until I believe in myself again. If ever. I seen thing tha' no girl should ever see, I'm sure ya know what I'm talkin' abou'..."
Letting go of his hands, she jammed hers through her dark hair. "It's just a different kinda horror."

OOC: No worries, I understand.
Stacy's skin might not have showed her blushing, but her body heat was another story. The infrared scale was commonly called 'heat sensing' as it was particularly receptive to changes in temperature. Shen saw the blush on Stacy's cheecks as a slowly growing pattern of thermal energy. He, however, said nothing about it. He would let her keep some dignity, he would not push any further than that. It was enough to know what he had done.
"But tha' my point. Ya can' really see my body...ya can' see the disfigurement tha' I have. Still, I can' lie, I'm shocked. I don' think my personality is real shinin' either. It must be tha' hormones."
"Have you never heard the expression, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder?'" Shen asked. It was a simply question, but he didn't expect a response. The girl seemed to be unable to take a complement. Shen guessed that her life on the streets had led her to be like that. Shen was like that in a way, he let no one see his body. He always kept as much of his physical form covered as humanly possible. If he rolled his sleeve slighlty, one would begin to see burn marks among other forms of scarring. He kept the physical signs of his torture well hidden from the eyes of the world, he could understand the psychology of a defense mechanism, which he guessed Stacy was using.
"It's gunna be a long time until I believe in myself again. If ever. I seen thing tha' no girl should ever see, I'm sure ya know what I'm talkin' abou'...It's just a different kinda horror."
"In my family, I was the religious one, my brother however was the philosopher. Something he told me before he died has stayed with me, let it also stay with you. 'No matter how hard others try to lessen you, it is futile. No one but yourself has the power to make you feel less.' You may have given your clients your body, but are you willing to give them your spirit?" Shen almost challenged. Stacy might not like hearing that, but she needed to learn that she could change herself, change her perception of value. She was alive, and that was what mattered.

It was getting harder and harder for Stacy to keep the dam from bursting. Her emotions were building and as much as she was trying not to have it be so, her body was reacting. She had spent years building up the wall that kept men out of her head...and yet it was being torn down right before her eyes. Shen was either the sweetest, most sincere man on the face or the earth or the best manipulator known to man. Stacy truly wanted to believe the former...she had just been hurt so many times to trust her instinct.
"Have you never heard the expression, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder?'" "I heard it, yeh..." She said, shoving her hands into her pockets. "I suppose I ain' gunna change yer mind. So, thank ya...yer beautiful too." It was a little strange telling a man he was beautiful, but Stacy had never done this before. When she told a man something, it was what he wanted to hear and what he TOLD her he wanted to hear. Every one of her clients had their fantasies they wanted lived out, and Stacy played along.
Now she didn't even know the game. It was a big problem. "In my family, I was the religious one, my brother however was the philosopher. Something he told me before he died has stayed with me, let it also stay with you. 'No matter how hard others try to lessen you, it is futile. No one but yourself has the power to make you feel less.' You may have given your clients your body, but are you willing to give them your spirit?" Stacy listened carefully and she couldn't handle it anymore.
A tear trailed slowly down her face and Stacy quickly swiped it away. "They ain' never gunna take tha' from Stacy X." She said strongly. "They ain' got it so far, an' I ain' never lettin' tha' go."

Re: Attempting EnlightenmentWho: Shen With: Stacy X When: Earnly Evening Where: Gardens of the Xavier Institute
Shen could percieve the emotions in her not as emotions, but rather as changes in energy patterns. It was what allowed him at times to be so perceptive, it was also what made him more awkward than many. Because you can read what someone is currently feeling by no extention means you know how they are going to react. Shen had just been trying to help, and now he saw the change, something was happening to Stacy. But, something was also happening to him. Shen had been more open with Stacy than he had been with the Professor, and the Professor was the man that Shen had said the most too until recently.
"I suppose I ain' gunna change yer mind. So, thank ya...yer beautiful too."
It was Shen's turn to look mildly ashamed. He figured that they had the same psychology on this. They both couldn't think of themselves as beautiful, Shen because he had brought death and Stacy because of her former trade. They had both been done in by their mutations, but it was because of their mutations that they could relate. Shen's helmet showed no emotion, but his body language was still readable. His shoulders slumped a little. "Thank you," he said, meekly.
"They ain' got it so far, an' I ain' never lettin' tha' go."
If Shen could have smiled, he would have. He saw the tear and saw Stacy wipe it away. Shen reached for his pocket and took out a tissue and held it out in offering if she would take it. "That is why you are beautiful Stacy, because you did not give in, you resisted, you did not become a prostitute. A prostitute does more than sell their body, they sell their spirit with it. You did not sell your spirit, nor could they take it. That is why you are beautiful, and that is why you should have no shame," Shen stated simply. He would need to leave soon and light the candles. It was his ritual, lighting the candles in his room to Buddha. He would have invited Stacy, but he did not think it would be appropriate.

The sun was noticeably dipping lower in the sky now, and Stacy was painfully aware of it. All of her sense swere heightened, her heart rate was up and it was all because of Shen. He was making her feel like a person, instead of a hooker. And she hoped to god her palms weren't sweating! Why was she losing the infamous X-cool? It was making her very nervous...
He seemed nervous too. His gentle, "Thank you," betrayed some embarassment that the mask did not. She hoped she wasn't making him feel uncomfortable, that was the last thing she wanted. What she wanted was for all the butterflies to leave her stomach and for her good judgement to come back. But alas, it must've been killed when her emotional wall had burst.
It was all thanks to Shen. "That is why you are beautiful Stacy, because you did not give in, you resisted, you did not become a prostitute. A prostitute does more than sell their body, they sell their spirit with it. You did not sell your spirit, nor could they take it. That is why you are beautiful, and that is why you should have no shame," "Tha's damn right, baby. I ain' no prostitute. I'm a hooker, there's a difference." She was joking, of course, but it was true. As a hooker she had diassociated herself from the men she had slept with. Prostitutes gave pieces of their heart with their love...and most ended up pregnant and drugged out within a few years of entering the bussiness.
That wasn't Stacy. She wasn't like that. Biting her lip, she looked down. "It's gettin' late...I don' wanna keep ya."

Re: Attempting EnlightenmentWho: Shen With: Stacy X When: Evening Where: Gardens of the Xavier Institute
Shen could sense the difference. He had done something to Stacy. Now only time would see what would come of it. Shen too had once been "awakened", by an old Tibetan monk who was imprisoned in the cell next to his. The monk had been the one who had given Shen the first key to meditation and the desire to read the books of philosophy and technique to guide his meditations. The Monk had died from exposure, the Chinese had left him outside in the cold Mongolian winter. However the monk had died in piece, which was something few in the camp did.
"Tha's damn right, baby. I ain' no prostitute. I'm a hooker, there's a difference."
Shen's mood lightened slightly. His 'face' conveyed nothing. He just looked at Stacy for a moment before mentally smirking. "Damn straight," Shen said softly. He was pretty sure that Stacy would laugh at that, the supposedly proper one swearing. He himself thought it was almost funny. Shen's hands dug in his pockets for something. He took out a small candle and a bic lighter. He just watched the sunset for a moment, exhaling softly.
"It's gettin' late...I don' wanna keep ya."
"It has been a pleasure, but before I go, I have a small gift. In some countries, where Buddhism can be practiced more openly, in temples close to lakes, sometimes monks will but candles on the water to watch them float. It is the union of fire and water, I have not yet had the pleasure of seeing it in person though, however you may see the union of fire and air," Shen said. With that he lit the candle and placed it on the bench. He turned his focus inward and then gently pushed outward with his mind. The candle wobbled on the bench, slowly at first, but then more quickly. Soon the candle was floating off the bench, three feet off the bench to be percise. Shen's hand was extended slightly, helping him channel the energy of the black hole. The candle stayed in the air, mirroring the glow of the seeting sun. The light from the candle illumined Shen's mask slight, giving it a flush glow.
Re: OOC
Wow, okay, so I am so overwhelmingly loving what I have just read that I didn't even want to go to the Kudos thread to give this shout out to you both...
Awesome! Absolutely, positively awesome, guys! I was a bit behind and think I just read 7 or eight, maybe even more, posts, and couldn't stop reading them. Wow. Both of you have opened up new sides to your characters in such a natural, flowing way... I LOVE IT!
So, yeah, just a post to let you both know that I have been following this thread closely, and am enjoying it immensely... keep up the good work, and interaction between the two, even after Roll Over.

Shen was making Stacy feel like a young girl again. Not that she was old or anything, not by a longshot, but she felt that way. Her youth had been destroyed when her virginity had been sold to the highest bidder. Now he was laughing and joking with her, and Stacy couldn't help but feel lighthearted. "Damn straight," He had said, and Stacy lost it.
Her laughter was genuine, rich and throaty. And, for once, it wasn't just a noise, she felt the effect of the laughter all over her body. Her stomach was bouncing, her eyes were alive with passion and she couldn't help but want to double over. But the moment ended too soon, parting was such sweet sorrow. It was almost dark now, she'd have to leave soon or he'd end up going to bed with her. And that's not what she wanted...at least not yet.
"It has been a pleasure, but before I go, I have a small gift. In some countries, where Buddhism can be practiced more openly, in temples close to lakes, sometimes monks will but candles on the water to watch them float. It is the union of fire and water, I have not yet had the pleasure of seeing it in person though, however you may see the union of fire and air," Stacy bit her lip as she watched him light the candle. Now, to be honest, she was not enthused at first. It was kind of corny that he was lighting a candle when she was standing with a hooker who had had sex by candlelight more times than a soap star.
But when she saw the gentle flickering and the symbolism...she couldn't help it. She smiled and looked over at him. "Le' me be perfectly honest with ya...this is tha best gift I ever got. It means more ta me than anythin' I ever seen before." She said, her voice trembling with emotion. "Thank ya."

Shen heard Stacy's laughter and would have smiled if possible. It was good to see her laugh, it was one of the signs of humanity in his opinion. He himself had not laughed as Stacy was laughing right now in quite a long time, if ever in fact. He chuckled from time to time, but he had few belly bursting laughs. It was just how he was. He enoyed seeing others laugh though, and smiled inwardly as an outward smile was impossible.
"Le' me be perfectly honest with ya...this is tha best gift I ever got. It means more ta me than anythin' I ever seen before. Thank ya."
"You are welcome," Shen said simply. He slowly took the candle out of the air with one hand and the other hand slowly rose and touched the side of his mask, near his mouth. He pressed an all but invisable button and the mouth of the mask opened, slightly. The flame at the top of the candle flickered for a moment before it was pulled from the wick, twisting in midair given a brief life completely of the air. Then the flame vanished into the abyss which was Shen Xorn's mouth. Shen pressed the same button again, and the mouth of his mask closed. Stacy had just seen the power of the black hole, or at least a fragment of it. "Good evening," Shen stated, and turned around. He walked slowly from the garden, the now extinct candle still in one hand.

"You are welcome," He said as Stacy relayed her deep gratitude to him. Things were looking up now, she felt goof about herself...and all he had done was talk and laugh with her. They were already forming a bond, and Stacy wasn't sure what to think about it.
Watching as he gently touched his face, his mouth opened wider. Stacy would've told him that he would burn his mouth if the candle went in there...but it seemed he had nothing to burn. There was just black space. Stacy watched as the candle was slowly snuffed out, much like the day had gone for them. The time had flown by, and, shockingly, she had barely felt it. "Good evening," Stacy nodded, "Yeh, goodnight Shen."
Watching him walk away, she felt a sigh sound from her throat. Turning back toward the way she came, she shook her head. "Aw damn Stace, ya gotta be careful wit' tha one." She said aloud...she didn't want to know what would happen if she let him into her heart. But for a hooker, that meant deadly consequences.
Background: Many, many years ago, Charles Francis Xavier established Xavier's School for the Gifted. Also, seeing other Mutants misusing and abusing their powers, he created the first generation of the X-Men.This original team was trained and lead by an old friend of his...Logan, aka Wolverine. Logan's co-leader was a young woman and student named Ororo Munroe, aka Storm. Once the team was trained and fielded on active missions, they took on the additional responsibility of teaching and helping new Mutants deal with their powers. On one horrible night, the X-Men were fielded to stop a particularly powerful Mutant and his 'gang'. The 'intelligence' received on this Mutant and his cohorts was sketchy and actually turned out to be a set-up to entrap the X-Men and take them captive. In the ensuing melee', 'things' happened and a number of the team were killed outright or severely injured. After making sure his remaining team-mates were going to be okay, Logan left. Xavier has not, to current time, explained his absence or even whether or not he survived.Current Time/Game Time: Almost seven years later, as Human/Mutant incidents are on the rise, Xavier once again sees a need for a Mutant 'police force'. He sees this new X-Men team as a force for good and a way to help peacefully integrate the rapidly emerging Mutant society with the established Human society. To this end, he has contacted Logan and asked him to 'come home' and train his 'new' team.
Logan has reluctantly agreed. Can shadows from their past be put aside for the good of the new X-Men? How will the surviving members of the original team react and what will they do as 'truths' are learned about that disastrous night?Note: We want the new X-Men to include younger versions of the old familiar characters such as Scott, Jean, Beast etc...as well as many of the OCC’s and other Canon characters that are available. Please ask the Staff BEFORE stating or establishing that your character was one of the old, now disbanded, original X-Men.
