Creed and Logan clash amidship/ JP
***********************************
And, if he had anything to say about it, now was going to be the time the two sorted it out, a fight to the death imminent.
Opening his mouth, the growl filled the corridor, rebounding off the walls and reaching the ears of the one known as Wolverine long before the sound wave actually got there.
“Time to play, runt!”
The sound of that familiar voice behind him, stopped Wolverine in step. He sneered with hatred, and with the pleasure of the opportunity presented to him. Slowly, he turned around, sneering at the other feral.
"I thought I caught yer stench when I came aboard," Logan taunted. Taking note of Creed's appearance, he realized instantly why he'd been able to sneak up behind him. The tang of the briny sea water masked the mutant's scent enough that he hadn't distinguished it from the earlier scent still hanging in the room.
He took a step forward, then another, as the two stared each other down. One table stood in place amongst the debris, looking totally out of place with its crisp white tablecloth and centerpiece. As he neared it, Logan stuck his hand under the edge of the table and heaved it up and over, letting it crash to the floor a few feet away.
It was a brutish invitation to the other that it was time to dance. Positioning his body square to his opponent, Logan dropped both hands out to his sides, releasing his foot long metal claws with a loud snikt. His eyes were hooded as he lowered his head in a predatory fashion and side-stepped smoothly, repositioning his stance as the larger mutant stepped into the room.
No reaction came from the mutant cat, his eyes not even moving from Logan’s long enough to watch the table topple and land. “Your scent ain’t hard to catch either,” Creed said, flexing claws itching to get their hooks into one of the most hated of his enemies. “That Jean Grey be one of the better looking chics around. I might go chase her up when I'm finished with you,” the last few words were hissed, and he felt the satisfaction that came with taunting the Wolverine.
Wolverine just stared at him, he already said all he had to say and this tactic was old game coming from Creed. He didn't like fighters who preferred to talk. Victor must've learned something over the years though, cause that was the last thing he said before he charged. Logan kept his eye on his enemy as Victor launched himself through the air. Wolverine prepared his defensive move; knowing Creed's usual offensive tactics he braced himself to move with the strike.
Sabretooth didn’t give the man time enough to play out his reaction, leaping from his position, claws extended, ready to strike once they hit their intended target. In mid-air, Creed changed his tactic, bringing around steel-capped boots to smack his opponent in the face, side-flipping away to land beside the fallen table.
The move caught Wolverine off guard and he reeled from the impact, spinning on his feet but keeping his balance. It took him a moment to get his vision back and he growled his rage, not knowing at the moment where he'd ended up or where his opponent was. He shook his head and lifted it to search for the other feral.
Wasting no time, having faced Wolverine so many times before he knew he couldn’t do that, his hands clasped that table, lifting it straight up and throwing it forward, Creed watched in delight as it hit Logan from behind, sending the man sprawling.
Wolverine flew forward, away from Creed, and hit the floor rolling, crashing into some overturned tables nearby. Coming to a stop on his stomach, he half rolled over onto his left hip and elbow and looked over his shoulder at Creed. He snarled and roared in primal rage.
Using the extra strength his mutation gave him, Creed covered the distance and was on top of the still recovering Logan before he knew what was happening. Wolverine saw him coming and rolled onto his back, his claws coming up to fend off the larger feral.
With huge strides Sabretooth was quickly looming over him and Wolverine brought his feet up, bracing them against the feral's leg to keep him at a distance. But Creed was much larger than Wolverine and his size gave him extra reach... which is why, he supposed, nature had endowed him with the larger claws; to make up the distance and lack of reach against his natural enemy. As he pushed out with his legs against the coming onslaught, Wolverine slashed out, with an extended arm and gleaming claws.
His eyes on claws so much more formidable than his own, Victor stabbed downwards with his own, straight into the man’s side; straight where a major organ should have been. Wolverine roared in pain as he was impaled, just as his own strike caught Sabretooth across the right cheek, leaving three bone-deep gashes across his face. His other hand reflexively wrapped around Creed's forearm, trying to push away the blood-covered appendage.
The smell of his own blood, the excruciating pain and the fury of his survival instincts enrage Wolverine. As his left arm followed through across Creed's face, he dragged his claws back across the mutant's forearm, gouging him to the bone and stabbed upward with his right, straight into Victor's ribcage.
The sound of adamantium blades skewering his opponent's ribs and cartilege gave the Wolverine primal pleasure and he sneered an atavistic grin as Creed froze above him, his eyes huge with surprise and Logan savored the moment as he slowly twisted his arm, cracking a rib or two before using his powerful legs to catapult the wounded powerhouse away from him.
As Creed went sprawling onto the floor, Wolverine got to his feet. Grunting with the effort, he checked his own wound.. it was deep and it was hard to breathe at the moment but in another moment that should change for the better.
Keeping his eye on Sabretooth, Wolverine limped to another spot, keeping pressure on the wound with his hand as he tried to give himself enough space and time to heal a little before Creed got to his feet again. The blood spattered floor was going to make footing treacherous if he couldn't lead the other to another area.

Re: Olympia: Sternish / Cyclops / Tags All There
Cyclops did a quick mental review of his team, their strengths and weaknesses. Getting them to work as a coherent, efficient unit was a lost cause, especially with so little preparation time, but he would have to do what he could.
"Gambit, you're up front with me." The Cajun had a handy talent for spotting traps, and Cyclops could use his own power to clear more conventional obstacles.
"Karina and Scarlet Witch next." That would protect them best, and their offensive powers were more amenable to being used indirectly than most of the others.
"Chamber, Rogue, you've got our backs." It was a risky leap of faith putting her at their backs, but her reputed invulnerability would do them best thee. And hopefully Chamber's telepathic gifts would help spot danger coming from that quarter.
Urging them all further in the direction of the stern, he sent via the link again, ~Evo, where are you?~
Re: Olympia: Sternish / Karina,Scarlet Witch / Tags All
The thought of hanging where she was galled Scarlet Witch. It was something she didn't want to do but she figured, in the end that it was best. She nodded to Cyclops sighing at the same time making a fist to 'stop' the glow at her hands. It wasn't a good time to let loose with a hex bolt at the moment. But when that time came, ooh, was she going to let one out.
Karina glanced at Cyclops, one hand unconsciously going into a pocket/pouch to touch one seed(or a packet). She didn't hide the fact that she was scared but she had to play it off. She had to remain calm.

Gaze on Cyclops, Chamber only shrugged. So be it, he could deal with the rear. His nod was cut short as he stared at Rogue.
*You up for this, Lil lady?*
His 'eyes' moving about. He was unsure about how well his telepathic gifts were work since he only use them to speak.
Re: Olympia: Sternish-area / Rogue/ Tags: All There*You up for this, lil lady?* Chamber asked Rogue.
It was the weirdest thing, hearing him talk to her, but not actually speaking. Chamber had no visible mouth.
Not wanting anyone to notice how rattled she was at everything, not just Jono, Rogue quickly moistened her lips with the tip of her tongue, smoothed out her hair the best she could (as Creed had seriously messed it up earlier, dragging her by the hair), and she smiled with a nod.
"Sure thang, Sugah," she replied as confidently as she could muster. "Just tell me what ya need me ta do."
Re: Olympia: Sternish / Cyclops / Tags All There
As Evo neared Engineering, a shadow could be made out, darting towards a pair of huddled figures against a wall.
"Stay back!" one of them shouted at the shadow. From nowhere, a trace of lightning shot out, missing the shadow by inches as it leaped and gyrated.
The shadow resolved into a form, the dark form of a woman with dark hair, dark clothes, and dark skin. "No, wait!" the shadowy woman shouted. "You are in great danger! The X-Men are after you, they will kill you just like they killed my companion!"
At that, she pulled a device. Light emitted from it, showing a soundless video of the earlier fight with Sabretooth, perhaps 10 seconds before being propelled out of the ship from a powerful blast. Edited by: Paid by the Word at: 11/1/05 7:37 pm

Evo stepped forward, walking up to the dark woman, shaking his head as he did. He could not speak, but simply held out a hand to the two figures, watching them and the dark woman as he simply stood there. In the meantime, he 'spoke' to the others in the telepathic net ~I've found the mutants, but someone's here, and they claim we killed some big guy she showed a batle with. What's going on?~

Re: Olympia: Sternish Area / Gambit/ Tags Cyclops"Gambit, you're up front with me." The Cajun had a handy talent for spotting traps, and Cyclops could use his own power to clear more conventional obstacles.
Well, that was somewhat of a surprise, considering the laser-eyed mutant had so recently gotten up him for going off on his own and being irresponsible as it were. Gambit wasn’t about to argue with the fact he was being put up front, his only concern coming when Cyclops proceeded to tell Rogue to take up their flank.
Never mind, he had his ways to keep an eye on them all, especially her, a fellow Southerner with looks to die for. Remy grinned at that thought. Turning to Cyke, coming up beside him before he’d even finished giving out his orders, Gambit asked, “So, where be yo’ takin’ us, Mon’ami?”
He was curious to say the least, however, he was also just keen to get this over and done with so he could go back to the mansion and get to know a certain, young, previous damsel in distress that little bit better.

Chamber winked from where he stood looking around. He could tell that Rogue was startled at his mode of communication but it was all he could do, for the moment--the manifestation of his powers having ruined his mouth and all. He didn't want others to see that so the 'mask' concealed the damage.
Re: Creed and Logan clash amidship/ JP / pt 2
Creed and Logan clash amidship/ JP
Part 2
***********************************
As Creed went sprawling onto the floor, Wolverine got to his feet. Grunting with the effort, he checked his own wound.. it was deep and it was hard to breathe at the moment but in another moment that should change for the better.
Keeping his eye on Sabretooth, Wolverine limped to another spot, keeping pressure on the wound with his hand as he tried to give himself enough space and time to heal a little before Creed got to his feet again. The blood spattered floor was going to make footing treacherous if he couldn't lead the other to another area.
A low growl started in his chest, Creed’s wounds already healed to the point he could get up and start hacking into his opponent again, however, he was actually thinking about how to make this the last time he would ever have to lay his eyes upon the stinking mutant known as the Wolverine.
He earlier had set up many a trap, black wires connected to bits of this and bits of that; to the bodies of the wounded; to parts of the ship still very much intact. A grin came to his face, his form still facing away from Logan; his eyes gleaming with the possibilities the sudden memory just opened up to him.
Wolverine watched intently as Sabretooth began to pick himself up off the floor. He knew the damage he had done wouldn't keep the mutant down for too long. As it was, his own healing factor, by nature, should've healed him much more quickly from the injury Creed had caused. But since the addition of the adamantium lacing his bones, Logan's own healing factor had lost much of its reaction time, due to always expending a portion of its strength fighting off the "metal poisoning" the invasive alloy threatened on his system.
~Time to take this to a new level,~ Creed thought, his natural instinct to just beat his attacker to a bloody pulp pushed down for now, the side of him not many saw coming to the fore.
Slowly he pushed himself back to his feet, turning a gaze that could kill, if that had been the mutant power he had been so endowed with, towards the man he hated the most. Logan's eyes were glued to him as he stood a distance away, favoring the side he had his hand latched to. Creed's sense of smell picked up what would normally have been an overwhelming stench of blood, the area between them covered in it, clear signs of the struggle that had ensued previously.
“Shall we continue then?” he asked, eyebrows rising, the cocky grin spreading over his face.
"Why stop now? We're just gettin' started," Wolverine taunted with a wide wicked grin, which served nicely to show off his one-inch fangs.
Dropping his hand from his side, the deep wound half healed, he positioned himself to continue the fray and as a growl rose up from his chest, his hackles rose up starting at the nape of his neck. It was an instinctive reaction, not a conscious one, and it served to make the diminutive Wolverine appear larger than he actually was. It was a reflexive mechanism that all animals had. The dark thick hairs on his arms raised up and, as the individual hairs on his head were hollow, it allowed the tufts on his head to change shape, fanning out a bit to stand higher up to give the illusion of greater size.
“Just getting started?!” Creed growled. “We haven’t even begun!”
Wolverine smiled darkly. He loved tweaking Victor and it didn't take much to get the man riled up. Creed’s black eyes never left those of Wolverine’s, even as he slowly made his way towards the smaller man, intimidated none by his opponents seeming growth in size.
Logan watched the man's every move, taking note as his opponent reached inside his jacket obviously going for something hidden in his pocket. Merely three metres from Logan, the mutant cat’s grin broadened, a knowing look reflected on his face. He withdrew his hand to reveal a small, complicated-looking device with wires of black connecting one section to the other.
Logan recognized the object immediately, the scent of plastique leaving no doubt what it was. He'd used plenty of it himself throughout his years as a covert operative in the Canadian Special Forces Black Ops division. ~He'd survived worse~, was his his first thought. ~That didn't mean it doesn't hurt~, was his second. His eyes narrowed at the approaching man, adrenaline racing through his veins getting ready to fight or flee.
Leaping upwards with the strength his mutation gave him, enabled Creed to near the high ceiling of the cruise ship. He was then able to cover the remaining distance with an underhand toss and the small plastic explosive smacked against the roof; sticking firmly, and waiting to be set off by the black cord Sabretooth was letting out even as he fell back down to the floor.
Logan watched this spectacle curiously, even as it become obvious what Creed intended to do. Still, he continued to watch his opponent as the mutant landed again, his weight vibrating the otherwise solid floor beneath their feet.
Creed’s eyes caught Logan’s, the wicked grin spreading across his face even as he gave the cord a hard yank, setting off a device that packed enough of a punch to rain the ceiling down around them. Beams, bits of plaster, metal, and whatever else had been up there threatened to bury them in a matter of seconds.
In less time than it takes to tell, Logan's eyes shot from Creed's to his fisted hand tugging hard on the cord. The deafening sound, like cracking thunder but a hundred times it's volume, made them both cringe forcefully just before an avalanche of debris began to rain down around them.
Waiting, Victor Creed leapt out the door at just the right moment, before the debris became overwhelming. Landing, he turned back to hopefully watch the demise of one Wolverine; his most hated enemy.
As Creed broke his ground, taking cover in the outer corridor, Logan relinquished his stand and dove toward the other end of the room. Landing still within the debris field he hit the floor rolling, tumbling as close to the opposite door as possible then scrambled for it, as heavy plaster and pieces of metal slammed down on him. He did his best to ignore the hits and forced himself to concentrate on the escape route. Diving through the falling debris he landed on the tiled floor in the adjoining room.
The weight of the entire ceiling dragged itself to the ground, continuing to fill the large room with thick dust and heavy mounds of debris. Wolverine lay still, his body flat against the floor, both arms crossed over his head.
The deafening roar a few yards away finally quieted into a spattering of staggered pieces dropping to the floor.
Under the covering of his arms Logan lifted his head slowly as the thunderous sound began to ebb, signaling that the collapse was nearly complete.
He was covered with a thick layer of dust, giving him a ghostly appearance. He coughed and waved a hand at the particles swirling around him and sat up. Looking back at the door he'd just come through he could see it was now blocked by what used to be the ceiling. Logan stood up trying to peer over it, then turned to seek another way out of the area.
Patting down his clothes and giving his head a hard shake to dislodge the heavy dust, which only succeeded in enveloping him yet again in the billowing ash, he gave out a couple of dry coughs and scrunched his nose in disgust.
Logan made his way through the adjacent room, keeping a keen eye out for any signs of a sneak attack, his bemused expression disappeared to be replaced with an intense scowl as his primal instincts kicked in again. Stepping out into the corridor, his head snapped right and left, wondering which way Sabretooth went; he couldn't smell anything with his nostrils packed with the offensive soot, and he repeatedly tried to force the material out, to gain back his most important sense of smell.
Then with a thought, his hands grappled for his comlink, hoping it was still operational and sent out a warning to his teammates.
"Heads up everybody! Just had me a dance with one Victor Creed, I'm trackin' him but keep yer eyes open an' stay focused."
He moved his hand from the combadge, then added as an afterthought, the sound of those two words so guttural with primal anger the others could barely make out the words over their tiny speakers, "He's mine!"
(Tags are still open to all... otherwise I'm just gonna hunt that lowlife down until the ship sinks or one o' us is dead...... just so ya' know)
Evo: ~I've found the mutants, but someone's here, and they claim we killed some big guy she showed a batle with. What's going on?~
Relief that Evo was still all right mixed with concern -- and a tinge of exasperation -- at his report. ~Evo, we haven't killed anybody, though there was a brief fight.~ Though with whom, he thought, it would be nice to know. ~Now, where is 'here,' exactly? Nightcrawler, can you transport us to Evo?~
Logan: "Heads up everybody!
Great, Cyclops thought. Another mystery opponent. Or maybe the same, for all he knew, since none of the trio involved with the first one had told him so much as eye color yet. "Copy that," he said, his tone vermouth-dry. "In case he doesn't introduce himself, how will we know him?"
Re: Olympia: Logan on comlink tags Cyclops
"Oh that's easy... he's really big an' really ugly," Logan replied to Scott's question over the comlink. Then knowing that particular reply wasn't really good enough, he added, "Yeh, I know, that doesn't help much. He's about six feet six inches tall, long blond hair and growls alot. And like I said... he's MINE!"
Re: Olympia: Sternish-area / Gambit/ Tags: All There"Heads up everybody! Just had me a dance with one Victor Creed, I'm trackin' him but keep yer eyes open an' stay focused."
Gambit stopped dead in his tracks, red-on-black eyes narrowed in the direction of Scott and the voice coming over the com-link. How he wanted to go and beat that mutant senseless right now; his hatred for Creed so apparent in his eyes it would be nigh impossible to miss.
"He's mine!"
~Non, de cat be mine when I be gettin’ de chance!~ he thought, the image of the man dragging Rogue away to do who knew what to playing around in his mind.
"Copy that," Scott said, his tone vermouth-dry. "In case he doesn't introduce himself, how will we know him?"
The Cajun stifled a laugh. Oh how that description was so fitting. Wolverine’s reiteration that Sabretooth was his brought a smirk to Gambit’s face. ‘Well, I guess it be fittin’,” he said, “Dey both ‘ave claws, an’ dey both be ugly, so, who bett’r t’ figh’ each oth’r,” on some level Remy knew he’d get his butt kicked if Logan actually heard that comment; not really caring if he had either.
Re: Olympia: Sternish-area / Rogue/ Tags: All There*Just keep a look out behind us, in case.* Chamber instructed her.
"Uhh... In case of what, Sugah?" she asked timidly, looking around for whatever iminent danger that he suspected would be following them.
"Heads up everybody! Just had me a dance with one Victor Creed, I'm trackin' him but keep yer eyes open an' stay focused." Wolverine announced. Then he added, "He's mine!"
~Oh, no! He's still coming?~ Rogue silently worried. ~Ah guess that's what Ah'm supposed'ta be lookin' out for...~ However, she was somewhat relieved to hear that the short, fuzzy mutant had laid claim to taking him out. She kind of felt protected - yet afraid.
"Copy that," Cyclops said, his tone vermouth-dry. "In case he doesn't introduce himself, how will we know him?"
Before Rogue could volunteer that she knew him quite well and would be more than happy to point him out to her new 'friends', Wolverine spoke up.
"Oh that's easy... he's really big an' really ugly," Logan replied to Scott's question over the comlink. Then knowing that particular reply wasn't really good enough, he added, "Yeh, I know, that doesn't help much. He's about six feet six inches tall, long blond hair and growls a lot. And like I said... he's MINE!"
Rogue decided that now might be an apporpriate time to speak. Especially since she felt guilty that Creed was here. It was her fault, afterall. He had been sent to retrieve her.
"Uh... Ah hate ta say this, but... Tha' only reason that Sabretooth's here is cuz of me. Apparently the Brotherhood wants me ta come back, an' they're willin' ta try ta get me with force..." she confessed.
"Ah'm really sorry about all this..." she added meekly, hoping that her new 'friends' wouldn't blast her off the ship.

Turning to look at Rogue, Chamber shook his head.
*Not an option. If you don't want to go back, you don't have to. No one can force you except you.*
He turned away not wanting her to see that he was sincere about what he said. He looked toward where the others were.
He blanched at the mention of the description of Creed and sort of sighed. He was glad his blast hadn't killed the other.
*Um, I just hope Wolverine gets back okay. That guy was a bit tough. And mean.*
Re: Olympia Sternish / Karina,Wanda / Tag: All There+Kurt
Scarlet Witch glared around her, the little glows flickering and disappearing in response to her glares.
"~Well, we shouldn't be standing here. I'd like to do something before I get too old to,"~
Karina didn't say anything. She was too busy looking around, fiddling with the seeds in her pocket.

Creed and Logan clash amidship/ JP- pt.3

Then with a thought, his hands grappled for his comlink, hoping it was still operational and sent out a warning to his teammates.
"Heads up everybody! Just had me a dance with one Victor Creed, I'm trackin' him but keep yer eyes open an' stay focused."
He moved his hand from the combadge, then added as an afterthought, the sound of those two words so guttural with primal anger the others could barely make out the words over their tiny speakers, "He's mine."
*******************
Small quarters, or lots of room; open air, or under cover; even as he moved through the hallways Creed contemplated all of this, trying to decide which area to make use of; what surroundings would serve him better in facing against an opponent that had thwarted his last attempt to finish him off for good.
Cursing under his breath, Sabretooth let out some of the anger that came along with having failed, eyes narrowing at the image of Logan jumping clear of the falling debris; a growl issuing forth at the realisation the man he hated the most was still alive, and without a doubt hunting him down to finish, or rather, continue, the job.
The mutant cat needed to decide exactly where to stage the next part of the confrontation clearly at hand, pausing outside the doorway that led to the Theatre, with its many rows of chairs and a backstage area swathed in darkness. Without a word, or a thought, Creed pushed through the elaborate obstacle, walking down the hallway through the initial waiting area and on through the double door entrance beyond.
A grin of intent spread across his face as he covered the distance from the back of the theatre up to the stage in a matter of moments; leaping up onto it and walking through the backstage curtains before, hopefully, his pursuer had even picked up on a scent that this particular mutant had meant to leave behind.
****
As Wolverine stepped out of the kitchen into the corridor, he looked to either side, just in case, before deciding to go left, back in the direction he'd last seen Creed. He knew damned well that even though Victor loved to stand around and gloat over his would-be victories, Logan doubted the man was still standing there. He needed to try to pick up a scent, the best he could with his nasal passages violated by the thick plaster dust.
He was a seasoned tracker though, and there was more than one way to skin a cat. Wolverine grinned menacingly with that thought as he neared the doorway that Sabretooth had used as his egress from the collapse, his eyes darting about as he hugged the wall.
The dust was still heavy in the air and alot of debris had been thrown out into the hallway. Logan's gaze moved down to the floor and he sneered a feral approximation of a grin, as the large footprints left in the dust showed him exactly in which direction Creed had gone.
With a quick glance behind him, Logan slipped away from the wall and followed the powdered tracks down the passageway until they'd nearly faded completely. He checked up, short of the prints disappearing; for without his sense of smell Wolverine had to rely solely on his other senses.
Standing rock still, his heart pounding with the adrenaline rush, Wolverine forced himself to nearly stop breathing as only his eyes moved about, listening intently for distant sounds.
And that's when he heard it. His ears perked and he turned his head slowly in the direction the growl came from; a sound so soft, but so unmistakeable. Narrowing his eyes and alert to everything around him, Wolverine made his way cautiously in the direction the sound had come from.
Coming to an intersecting passageway, Logan glanced left then right. To his right, a set of double glass doors stood slightly ajar and, beyond that sat the ship's entertainment theatre. Turning again to his left he saw nothing of interest, just a long bland passageway.
Spinning very slowly on his toes Logan turned to face the theatre, his head tilting to one side as he considered it. Oh yeah, that was Creed's style. The man was a braggart and a showboat... what better place for him to try to "lower the curtain on this finale". 'Hope yer ready, Creed,' Logan sneered silently, 'here comes the encore.' Silently he slipped through the doors like a ghost; immediately putting his back to the wall he froze again, all his senses on alert.

~Cyclops, Big and hairy's the guy this lady claims you killed. She said he's a companion of hers, and she's tryign to get the mutants to go with her.~ Evo sent when he heard about Sabretooth. Then, the large mutant walked closer to the image device, and pointed at Sabretooth. He then gestured back the way he came, and mimed walking. The mutant also let out an unconscious growl at the mysterious female, but otherwise did nothing.
Re: Olympia: Sternish-area / Chamber/ Tags: All There
"STOP!" Mystique cried out to Evo as he approached, positioning herself between Evo and the two mutants. "You will not harm them, I will not let you!"
As she did so, the video image flickered to Chamber's attack on Sabretooth, a blast so powerful that the mutant was propelled through the ship's hull. "Andreas! Felicia! These are the mutant hunters I told you about, the X-Men! Why else would they call themselves that? Why else would the government allow them to run a mutant training school so close to both Washington and New York?"
There was a sharp intake of breath on the part of the female mutant, Felicia Morgan. "No!" she gasped, and with that all the lights went out as well as Mystique's video gadget, only to be replaced by a swirling ball of energy held two feet before the other mutant Andreas. With a wave of his hand it approached menancingly and slowly. "Leave us!" he called out.
---
"Jean, I can teleport there, but I do not know where where is!" Kurt called out in frustration on the mental link. "Can you show me? You have to show me, please!"
Shifting to spoken thought, he asked, holding up two fingers "Who should I take first?"

Re: Olympia: Sternish-area / Chamber/ Tags: All There
Chamber was frowning. Something was just not right, he could sense it. But whatever it was continued to allude him. What could it be?
He kept turning behind him, trying to find that illusive thing but it wasn't there.
Background: Many, many years ago, Charles Francis Xavier established Xavier's School for the Gifted. Also, seeing other Mutants misusing and abusing their powers, he created the first generation of the X-Men.This original team was trained and lead by an old friend of his...Logan, aka Wolverine. Logan's co-leader was a young woman and student named Ororo Munroe, aka Storm. Once the team was trained and fielded on active missions, they took on the additional responsibility of teaching and helping new Mutants deal with their powers. On one horrible night, the X-Men were fielded to stop a particularly powerful Mutant and his 'gang'. The 'intelligence' received on this Mutant and his cohorts was sketchy and actually turned out to be a set-up to entrap the X-Men and take them captive. In the ensuing melee', 'things' happened and a number of the team were killed outright or severely injured. After making sure his remaining team-mates were going to be okay, Logan left. Xavier has not, to current time, explained his absence or even whether or not he survived.Current Time/Game Time: Almost seven years later, as Human/Mutant incidents are on the rise, Xavier once again sees a need for a Mutant 'police force'. He sees this new X-Men team as a force for good and a way to help peacefully integrate the rapidly emerging Mutant society with the established Human society. To this end, he has contacted Logan and asked him to 'come home' and train his 'new' team.
Logan has reluctantly agreed. Can shadows from their past be put aside for the good of the new X-Men? How will the surviving members of the original team react and what will they do as 'truths' are learned about that disastrous night?Note: We want the new X-Men to include younger versions of the old familiar characters such as Scott, Jean, Beast etc...as well as many of the OCC’s and other Canon characters that are available. Please ask the Staff BEFORE stating or establishing that your character was one of the old, now disbanded, original X-Men.
