"SAVE OUR VOICE" Campaign

In case the rumors turn out to be false... the campaign issues remain:

Don't stop campaigning. I know that we've had to grieve and be angry... so those of us who've had emotional outbursts and rantings in public forums and in communications with TPTB would reflect that. But we've had time to get some clarity, so I'm thinking its time to be STRATEGIC now. We can catch more bees with honey, so I recommend keeping all your comments positive. No one likes to read or distribute irate rantings. Also, those people don't have time for long letters, so keep it short and sweet whenever possible...

EVEN IF WE DIDN'T... helping him to get a good job we can enjoy him on... is WORTH EVERY MOMENT OF OUR TIME!

But who knows... maybe he WILL be back in Llanview...

First we keep our fingers crossed that he isn't killed off, because of our campaigning... maybe they heard us and wanted to leave a door open. If he is killed off, we don't forget that its a soap so its not un-doable.

Second, we remember the combination of Al being a central historical character, Nathaniel's talent, his looks (which DO play a part however shallow a concept it is), his fan and press-friendly demeanor, and his dedication to the role...

Third, we don't stop our efforts... We continue to write the show and the mags, and campaign with nuts and MARCAL tissue. We continue to write our fan fiction. We continue to visit with each other to keep up motivation.

Fourth, whatever Nathaniel does in the mean time... we support him and get his fanbase bigger by any means possible.

Remember...

We may never know the real reason he was let go... but I know that the only source I trust said it was due to freeing up funds to afford Michael Easton.

Either way, TPTB had to have needed funds to let people like James DePaiva (Max) go, so it stands to reason that it was money related.

The thing I hope that you realize is that even if you hear rumors that there were things that Nathaniel did wrong.. employers don't use those things until they need to play the card. I find the timing highly suspect so it stands to reason that it was not Nathaniel's fault.

I hope that you will join me in continuing to campaign for him and tune out the voices that would belittle you for believing in him. All the proof we need is in those magazine articles... the guy is the real deal, and I look forward to us being his fans no matter what projects he works on.
