roleplay
OOC: ok, so I noticed that this board was sad and empty and I couldn't leave it like that. Also, I've only been here a few days but I think I need to get a real good roleplay going on here. In my opinion, a good role play has a real plot and direction. It's like a story from the perspectives of a bunch of different characters. I think I have a preety good plot idea. It's been used before but that's ok. If you have sugggestions, concerns or need help just let me know. Also, even though I posted this in the loon house, it is defintely open to everybody, just, as i said before I couldn't leave it empty.
IC:
Corrie walked out of her dorm and into the common room. there was no one there. there was never anyone there. it was almost as if everyone had such a completely different schedule that no one did anything at the same time as everyone else. she had yet to meet much of anyone here. not that it bothered her much anyway as she usually preferred to be alone but it still seemed a bit strange. The room was dim and she had work to do. she sat down and discovered that the light was too dim to see by. She wondered for a moment if she dare take off her dark glasses. there was no one here... no, too risky. she took out her wand and brightened the room a little before taking out a small black notebook and a pen.

OOC: I love the idea of you starting a plot for the school but I must add one major thing, you said "Also, even though I posted this in the loon house, it is defintely open to everybody," but I'd just like to make sure your realize that ONLY loons can reply in the loon common room or dorms, and like wise for the rest of the houses!!! So even though students of OTHER houses can become part of this plot, THEY CAN'T POST IN the common rooms of a different house (for example Moose can post in the Loon C.R., Loons can't post in the Deer C.R. etc.) OK?
IC: Just then Ryley walked into the common room. His arms were loaded with several heavy books, as he had just come back from a morning full of classes. "Oh, Hello! How are you today? Sorry if I'm interupting you, it's just that there ARE rarely any fellow Loons around her at this time of day!" he said sort of surprisingly.

Andaleeb walked out off her dorm. She had been reading under the covers all night and, well, she could have looked better. She began walking down the stairs to the common room when she tried over one of her shoelaces and fell down the rest of the way, landing on her back.
"Well, that was interesting," she muttered, staring at the ceiling. She got up and realized that there were other people in the commons. Well this it just great... she thought rudefully. "Hi, what are you two doing here?" she said before she could stop herself. Stupid idiot! she thought to herself angrily. Can't you ever keep you mouth in check?

Ryley replied with a smile, "Actually I'm just taking a small rest for lugging these things around all day!" he then told her as he gestured towards the stack to books he had but down on the side table beside the chair he now sat in.

Andaleeb blushed. She sorely wished that she could take what she said back, but that would be really hard to do. She brushed some dust off her clothes before walking over to a chair and sitting down.
"I'm sorry," she said. "It's just that I can't really keep my mouth in check that well, so I blurt out things that I don't really mean. What I meant was that I was wondering why you were here since this place is usually empty most of the time."

"Oh of course! Do you seem to blush constantly or is your complexion naturally red?" he then inquired with a friendly laugh. "I wonder where the rest of our loonies are!!" re then added as he tried to change the subject, when he noticed he was probably embarrassing her.

Corrie watched silently from the corner and quickly decided that although it was nice to know that other loons were alive, she decided she liked it better quiet. people had an uncanny way of messing things up without knowing it. Just as she was getting back to work, a dark shape flew into the room. It was her bat, Talon. she whistled softly and it flew to her wrist.

Levi entered the room from the hallway with an armload of books. He was just in time to see a bat fly to a girl's arm. He watched in awe and surprise. He set down his books and stepped onto a low coffee table in order to see better. "Wow, you have pet bat? Did you train it? I've never heard of tamed bats before..."

"There isn't usually an audience waiting here when I come down," Andaleeb said sourly, and stopped blushing. She shook her head and smiled slightly when the bat flew in. It looks quite cute.

"Ok then! Well, I'd better get my books back up in my dorm and pick up my books for my next classes! Have a nice day, everyone!!" Ryley said with a smile as he got up from his chair, picked up his books and headed for the boys dormitories.
