vacation time in Cleveland
yep - going to Cleveland to visit my parents next week. Do some much needed chores around the house.

and since they have <gasp> dial-up, not gonna be online much next week.

and since I did that DirectX upgrade, my computer is all broke until I get back to redo it all.

So I will catch ya when I get a chance.

Mal - do me a favor sweetie? Smack Perone every once in a while. And not in a loving way. Would appreciate it. thanks!

Well I am returned to the land of sunshine. I had forgotten how well it can thunder and lightning and rain. Trees got split in two, floods in minutes and penny-size hail.

And as a parting gift from Delta Airlines, I got the flu. So I was barely functional Sunday and a little better on Monday. It was kinda suspicious that some people on the flight were hugging little baggies at their mouths. Wasn't that turbulent out of Atlanta!

Wish I had more vacation time so I could stay home today. o well.....

ahhh the body beautiful is just that - all beautiful. And I can sure tell now when there is any poison oak in the air.

(now, let's count to 10 and see how long it takes Perone to chime in......)

RE: poison oak: there is strong scientific evidence that it is becoming more prevelent and more resistant to killer sprays, all due to global warming. There is this other plant that would interact with poison oak to cross pollinate it and make it less potent and grow less. Seems that plant is dying off due to wetter and warmer weather.
